Is the Lion King Show in the AK running? We will be in WDW in late august

It opened on June 1. We were at the 3 pm show on opening day.

It was closed for a while, and the theatre relocated, but it now up and open again, near Tusker House.

It is one of our favourites!

The kids said that it looked like a new Simba animatronic on the back of the float. It did seem to have more fluid movements (last week). How new is this?

The show just reopened last month.

The new Africa section is very nice too. At the very end of the new area, beside the new bathrooms, there is a temporary wall that blocks the path to a distant bridge.

Will this pathway eventually lead to the new Pandora section?

Yeah... I had been following all of that and we couldn't wait to check out the new show building.

I was wondering if the Simba animatronic was new...
