Move It! Shake It! Change It!

11/2/14 The refreshed Magic Kingdom “street party”, Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It!, debuted October 24th at the Magic Kingdom. Stitch and Phineas & Ferb have been added along with new show music and new float theme music. Interactive elements have also been added. Guests can tweet pictures that are shown live during the show by using hashtag “#MoveItShakeItPics” and the crowd picks the final song from three current “chart toppers” by applause.

A Frozen Kingdom

11/2/14 Guests have two opportunities to see characters from Frozen during Christmas Season at the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom park has announced that the “Frozen Holiday Wish” show will include appearances by Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf. From November 5th through December 31st, the show will be held at 6:15 pm nightly. On non-Christmas party nights, a second performance will be held at 7:30 pm. During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a performance will be held at 8:00 pm. Guests of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will get a second chance to see the Frozen cast. Character Cast have reported that Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf have been announced to join the 2014 Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime parade.

Is That Load-Bearing Coral?

11/2/14 A “New Fantasyland” attraction is scheduled to close for a month long refurbishment in the New Year. It has been internally announced that Ariel's Under Sea Adventure in the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment February 2 through March 6, 2015. Attraction Cast have speculated that the refurbishment will include lighting enhancements that have already been installed at the Disney California Adventure location.

Springing Up

11/2/14 The two new kiosks have opened in the plaza area in front of Fulton's Crab House. Set the Bar and Sublime both offer a small retail areas inside their kiosk structures. Set the Bar carries items for one’s home bar and Sublime carries trinkets and small gift ideas.

10/11/14 Further changes are coming to Downtown Disney Westside as the area transitions into part of the new Disney Springs area. The Planet Hollywood Merchandise Shop outside of the Planet Hollywood restaurant has been razed. The merchandise counter inside the restaurant remains operational. Two new kiosks are slated to open on the plaza area in front of Fulton's Crab House. Sublime is advertised to carry “gifts and finds” while Set the Bar is advertised to carry “cocktail wares”.

Refurbs by the Sea

10/20/14 Resort Cast have reported that Disney's Beach Club resort is slated to undergo a lengthy rolling refurbishment. Beginning in Winter 2014 and concluding in Summer 2016; the project is expected to renovate Guest rooms and the resort's public areas. The extensive renovation project is expected to be completed in rolling phases to minimize the impact on Guests staying at the hotel during this time.

Shopping Shakeup

10/20/14 An Adventureland retail mainstay is schedule to close later this week. It has been internally announced that the Island Supply retail location is scheduled to permanently close on October 22, 2014 to make way for a new retail offering. Although details for the new retail location have not been announced, some Cast have speculated that the replacement could be a Jungle Cruise gift shop.
