That said, our 1900 house had plaster walls which have all been replaced. Depended on the upkeep of the house, I bet there are plenty out there that still have plaster walls. There are indeed many advantages to drywall vs. plaster, but they certainly don't build them like they used to.
I dislike the southwest look, but those houses are everywhere here. I really love the old houses. It is true that they do not build them like they used to.
