    Default Parks are packed

I talked to my daughter who lives in orlando. She got a fast pass for seven mines on line so went to mk. She did the ride and left because it was so crowded you could barely walk through the park. She said they had people posted at intersections to guide people through them.

Yikes! Glad I'm not there today, although I suppose a packed day at Disney would be better than preparing for night shift at the hospital. Hope the crowds are better when we head there in 18 days!

The week surrounding Easter on either side are two of the most crowded weeks of the year. Definitely not a surprise. And, of course, the parks are crowded year round now which makes things even more so during the "busy" times.

We have been here since the Saturday before Easter and yes it has been crowded. If you don't have fast passes for the major attractions you will wait at least 90 minutes standby, if not more. Early park access does alleviate this a bit, but not by much. A good park plan does help. However, don't think having a fast pass will always mean "no line". Some fast pass lines were up to 30 minutes. Example: expedition everest was down part of yesterday morning so they were honoring previous fast passes and the line was long past Finding Nemo.

Last day today and wrapping up at MK with just three rides/three fast passes. Then off to OHANA to end vacation week.

Also a note that if you use your three fast passes and want to get another at a kiosk during busy times expect a long line there too. (need a fast pass for the fast pass kiosk).

At one point the restroom line was out the door and my son said "need a fast pass there too"!

Can't think of too many better ways to wrap up a WDW trip than stuffing myself at Ohana.

    Default Crowds

Early December is still not bad. We were there for a week in 2013. Very low crowds.

Funny but Ohana is often our last restaurant before departing as well - so awesome to watch the illuminated castle change colors.

We have friends that go this time every year (have for 20 years) and talk about how packed the parks are. I have heard from many that this time of year (spring break/Easter) and Christmas are the busiest. We always pick less crowded times, but one day I plan to be there on Christmas day. I think it would worth the crowds.

Our friends were here last week and the parks were crowded. MK was packed, and that was early. Thursday we went to Epcot early. The line for SE was at 45 minutes, that was before 10am.
