Ah, Gaston . . .

I am not a M&G person, but I have to say that we made more than one trip to the Tavern area just to watch Gaston's M&G.

He is one of the BEST characters I have ever seen at WDW! The entertainment was fantastic, as was he.

Mine too. We had a very special moment last year. We always travel through MK via the Tavern with the hope that we may encounter him again. He told me his favourite colour was "reflective" ... for obvious reasons. He is fantastic!

We met Gaston last December it was just fabulous. My boys (9 &11) loved it because he pushed their sister (13) out of the way to get to them first and since that never happens it absolutely made their day! The rest of the day they kept saying, "no, no, no, boy's first!" The pictures were also hilarious, my husband thinks that has to be the greatest job in the world! Heading back there in the Fall and in December hope to see him again!

We also had the best time with Gaston. He was talking and flirting with my DD 10 and 14, and my DH was kind of standing off to the side. After we took a few pics with him and started to walk off I asked Gaston if he would pose with my DH, and he said: "Perfect, I've been looking for someone to help me hold up this door", and then they "manly posed" against the door pensively looking off into the distance. It was one of my favorite pictures of the trip.

We heard that a man who played Gaston passed away tragically from a fireworks accident over July 4. So very sad. We went by Gaston's Tavern during our trip last week but did not see a Gaston. Not sure how many actors portray him?

Such a tragedy and so very sad.

We saw two different ones when we were there. Although they were both very good, we definitely had our favourite. Hoping it wasn't him.

I met Gaston a week or so ago and he is definitely on my 'would highly recommend' list for character experiences. He has a boisterous voice, so you can easily hear him interacting with other guests while waiting in line to meet him, which is entertaining.

When I met him, I asked him if he ever thought about going after any of the single princesses, like Merida or Elsa, since things didn't work out with Belle. He confidently told me that things WERE going to work out with Belle (no one's determined like Gaston!) and then went on to complain that the others princesses were not to his liking for a variety of reasons: Aurora sleeps too much, Merida's hair is crazy and she's trying too hard for her hair to look like his (which isn't possible, of course!), etc. He's a lot of fun to talk to. I'm tempted to meet him again sometime soon to ask him for fitness advice to see what he has to say. I'd also like to ask him how he thinks he would fare in a duel against other physically strong Disney characters (like Hercules, Tarzan, and Mr. Incredible).
