OK, so D23 starts tomorrow... The theme parks presentation is scheduled for Saturday... Since the inception of the D23 convention, only one really major announcement for WDW has happened, and that announcement was Fantasyland... Disneyland has received majority of the love at D23... Could 2015 be different?

What would you want to hear announced Saturday? What do you expect to be announced? What do you think will be announced?

Here is my list:

WISHES: Star Wars in DHS; new parade in DHS; or the complete DHS make over including new road ways, parking structures, and car entrances; Full details on Avatar in Animal Kingdom; a real Epcot make over... I don't want to hear about new resorts (they have enough for now)...

THINK/EXPECT: Avatar details, Frozen in Epcot details, some small Disney Springs details, major information about the Disneyland expansion, and a passing mention of the DHS make over with only the name change being announced and no attraction line up or any major details at all, and if they do announce anything, it will be more closings and Pixar Place, no Star Wars details other than a mention of Star Wars coming... Jungle Cruise restaurant in MK information in And of course some more Shanghai information....

BTW, do we have anyone from here going? If so, please share your experiences here with us... And yes, please feel free to share in this thread so all D23 information can be in one place and not scattered LOL...

Wishes: DHS makeover (or given much love), Epcot (shot in the arm, maybe a new country), updates about Avatar/rivers of light, lower ticket prices (hey, I did say I was wishing lol)

Expectations: Frozen update, Shanghai Disney update, Disneyland shot in the arm (after all they just bought more land over there), HS rebranding, and disappointments


That's all I can think of right now.

Wishes: Monorail upgrades/expansion (it's a wish, right..), Major Star Wars land announcement for DHS, Complete rebirth of innovations, replacement of ellens energy adventure, replacement and/or modernization of the tomorrowland speedway.

Expectations: Disneyland announcement, Disney Springs Construction Update, New Star Wars Episode VII trailer, Frozen ride update, update on the amazing successes of magicbands and MDE.
