What's the best way to surprise teens with a Disney trip?

We are surprising our 19, 16 and 11 yr old kids on Christmas Day with a trip to Disney in April. How is the best way to do this? If we start a scavenger hunt they will know immediately because they have been begging to go. They are asking for money for Christmas to help them save for a future WDW trip.

Custom Magic bands under the tree. Disney gift cards in stocking for spending on trip. Wrap a picture of the park or resort. Text a link to a dining reservation. Make a video announcement and post it to thier social media or put burn it on a cd and give it to them.

I second the magic bands and gift cards. If you think they would like and wear mouse ears there are a ton of different ones that you can get for them also.

This does not help for a Christmas day surprise, but I have a friend who surprised his kids with a WDW vacation. He told the kids they were spending the week in a condo on Florida's east coast. The kids did not figure out they were really going to Disney until my friend took the exit from I-4 for the Epcot area resorts.

I tried that "East coast of FLA" thing once. My wife and I faked an argument about being lost going through Orlando. We pulled in to ask for directions at the guard house at POR. The guy says "You all checking in?" "Yes we are." My twelve year old daughter was totally surprised. Our fifteen year old son said he figured it out when we got on IH 10 in Texas because "There is no way we are driving to Florida and not going to WDW."

I made a book of their favorite things, and the last page was the announcement of the trip to WDW.
