    Default Disney Springs?

Is the springs area still a big mess? Is there parking anywhere near the marketplace, or is that going to be non-existant? Probably staying offsite next trip and like disney springs but concerned about extra walking. Thanks

I was there last week. A bit of a mess. The parking and roads are fairly "normal." There is a big parking garage that is right next to the "Planet Hollywood" area. Not much extra walking. I'd still recommend people to come in for it. Of course, if staying on-site, people should take Disney Transportation to avoid a lot of the remaining mess.

We stayed at Saratoga Springs in the fall and we were able to walk over to Disney Springs, we spent alot of afternoons over on the dock having a drink. It is still being worked on but the bus stops for marketplace are close so if you are staying on property its convenient. Parking is not super close but its not that far to the garage.

So how bad is the actual shopping area as far as construction is concerned, and does anyone know when it will all be finished? TIA

3 Things 1) Yes it is still a bit of a mess. There are some construction walls, but for the most part, much of it is open, and the construction should not be a problem. 2) Parking is plentiful in the ramp, but it is a walk from there to the Springs. You enter the area near the middle of the West Side. 3) There is surface parking near Cirque. We parked there, and walked from West Side all the way to the market place. Then we took the boat from the end of the Market place back to the West Side. That saved a ton of walking and was a nice ride. The West Side dock is right by House of Blues and Cirque, and the Marketplace dock is around the back of the Hanes T-shirt store, by the pathway to Saratoga Springs.
