Well, the French Quarter section and the bayou/riverside are different. We did stay once when our kids were little at POR very shortly after it was "Dixie Landings," and they loved it- until we took them to the Poly and then they really understood what we loved about WDW. Which is why I hesitate when you are looking at changing resorts. It is a different world. It could be your timing. Easter time is pricier. But it is hard to change when you're used to a certain experience, and I completely understand that. I hope you find something that makes you feel at home.

POR I think is a bit better themed but it really depends. AOA is super child friendly, any kid would love to be there especially with that theme. It is also more comfortable for 5 people since it is technically a suite. 5 people fit at POR but it's a pull out bed under the tv that can only fit a child/young teenager comfortably.

If it is an older family of 4 I would go to POR. Family of 5 with younger children, I would go with AOA.

Exactly Sherri, it's hard to change when you're used to a certain experience. For me, it's way more then a place to lay my head. I look forward to the Poly as much, if not more than the parks. So...we have a room on hold there..decisions., decisions!!!
