    Default Renting Points?

Long ago, 2004 I believe, my wife and I rented points from someone for SSR. We loved it.

It was also very affordable. We did it on our own, just us dealing with the owner.

I have done a bit of digging and I have only found the Timeshare store and another site. Is there still a private market out there? Do owners still rent to others in one-on-one deals?

    Thanks,

    JS

Yes people do deal 1:1 but using somewhere like the timeshare store adds reassurance for both sides. I think more owners use intermediaries now days. However last time I rented when I had spare points I posted on Facebook and was astonished at the enthusiastic response. Trust is key for both sides in renting which is why the Timeshare store is a good option.

I read somewhere last week that some of the perks to TS isn't going to be available when it's not your TS. I don't know what all that means, but you might want additional details before committing.
