Tides of Change

Typhoon Lagoon has quietly announced an indefinite closure to one of its attractions. The official operating schedule shows the last day for the Shark Reef snorkeling lagoon as October 2, 2016 with no re-opening date through all of published 2017 dates. Despite this potential closure, a replacement for the attraction has yet to be announced.

Stranger Previews

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will again be the home to a sneak-peek preview for a forth coming film. The finale of One Man’s Dream will host a sneak-peek of Doctor Strange beginning October 7, 2016.

The Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin has a new way for Guests to take part of their stay home. Guests have spotted the hotel selling an aluminum can 6-pack of the resort’s exclusive Phins & Feathers Pale Ale priced at $15.

New Heights

Rumours of the Disney Vacation Club coming to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are beginning to gain some support. Guests and Casts recently spotted construction height test balloons being used at the resort near the existing Barbados Village section.

Shopping Shake-Up

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has replaced one of its retail locations. The Shade Shack re-opened as a new Havaianas locations named Sand Breakers on September 14th.

A Grander Brunch

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has announced the return of its Holiday Brunch for the 2016 Holiday Season. The brunch will be held at 1900 Park Fare on November 20-26, 2016 and December 18, 2016 - January 1, 2017 from 12:45 pm - 2:10 pm each day during this period. The brunch is priced at $37 for Guests 10 and up and $22 for Guests Ages 3- 9. The character brunch will feature Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland.
