Default Castle Dinner or Be our Guest?

I can't decide if my husband and I should try to have a nice dinner in the castle or Be our guest restaurant? Any thoughts?

I think the food and pricing at BOG is much better than at Cinderella's Castle. We did dinner at BOG, and brunch at CRT, and while we enjoyed both, I feel like BOG was better. I enjoyed the menu and being able to order champagne. And the decor was magical. It was quite an experience.

I would also go with Be Our Guest. Love it there. It is a hard reservation to get

We did the Castle Dinner (Cinderella's Royal Table or whatever they call it) once and didn't care for it at all. The menu wasn't all that great and the food was mediocre with a high price tag. The only good thing was we scheduled it during the fireworks and got to watch them through the window of the castle from our table. That was pretty cool. We checked it off the list and probably will never eat there again unless something changes.

Thanks everyone that was the way I was leaning but wanted some other opinions.

I would say it would be nice to eat at both at some point but BOG is a better value and we love it.

Be our Guest for sure. We did both last trip. We will not return to the castle. Be our Guest was wonderful and the steak dinner was delicious!

We have never done Cinderella's Royal Table, mainly because of the price. If we want a Princess dinner, we'd rather spend less and go to Akershus.

We think that BOG is one of the best restaurants in all of WDW. The menu isn't signature, but it's darn tasty, and the atmosphere is really cool.

That said, I would imagine that the atmosphere at CRT is awesome as well. I mean...the Castle! I would like to try it once, just for that reason alone.

I used to love lunch in the castle before it turned into a character meal. Was a great value for the ambience.

Since it has become a princess venue, I find it went down in quality and value
