Default Reserving Dining and Fast Pass-

Is it better to call or go through my Disney Exp when booking fast pass plus and dining? Is one better than the other? OR should I do both?

I usually do everything online. If there is a specific restaurant that I can not get online I will sometimes call and see if they can get it. But usually if I can not get they can not either.

I also do all my bookings on line now. It also allows me to check back frequently if there is a particular booking I am unable to secure up front.

I prefer going online to do these, simply because I can easily check and see all available dining times without having to ask, "what about this day or that?"

I have done both ways, but I agree that on line is easier.

I would definitely do online ADRs, especially if you want something popular that goes away quickly like BoG dinner or something.

Done both. But rely on the online, but on use the other in a pinch, or to make sure of something. Similar as others have said.
