Default CBR Preferred Room vs. POR Royal Room?

Which would you pick, and why? I've stayed at both, however the last time I stayed at CBR was in 2001 so it's been a long time so it'd be like staying at a totally new resort to me. I stayed at POR just a few months ago but it was a regular room, not a Royal Room. This would be for 2 adult friends, no kids.

There's a lot of construction happening at CBR right now for the foreseeable future until the expansion is complete. Food court down, etc. Many people are avoiding the resort. You may want to consider Port Orleans for that reason. There are a few threads further down this page with the CBR construction details.

I do not know when you will be travelling, but CBR is a mess right now with the construction. Even if it wasn't, I'd choose POR. In my opinion, their food court is by far superior with selection. We also were not fans of the layout of CBR with all the interior bus stops. I know that POR has bus stops as well, but it seems like it is much easier to navigate. Also, you cannot discount that amazing boat ride to Disney Springs.

I'd stay POR Royal Room over CBR preferred.

Whatever you decide, I know you will have a great trip!

Thanks for the insight! Yes, POR has the advantage with the boat! Forgot about that perk.

We stayed in a Royal room one night then moved. It was way out on the edge of the property and we didn't want to have to walk so far.
