    Question Star Wars Dessert Party?

    Hello everyone,
I'm wondering about how long the Star Wars Dessert Party takes, from start to finish? I am going in August with my two Star Wars fans (husband and son), and I decided to treat them to the Dessert Party. In the meantime, I plan to maybe shop around and just take in some solo time. Can anyone tell me how long I would have for this? I understand they would attend the party, then the Fireworks, correct? Also, is the party fun? The desserts looked glorious from what I've seen online.... We're so excited to go, the last time I was in WDW was 1998, and my husband and son have never been! Thank you for any and all replies, they are appreciated!!!! Hope your day is good

We did the party last year, and most of the party we viewed as a plus. I think we mingled and ate for 60-75 minutes. Then about 15 minutes before the fireworks show, we all we led over to a reserved spot for the fireworks - a very nice location to see the show. The fireworks lasted perhaps 15-20 minutes?

The biggest negative we saw was the fact there are no chairs at the party. So if you spend all day in the parks, then you go to the party for 75 minutes and stand, then you walk to the fireworks and stand another half-hour - it just seemed really odd to us that they have no place to sit. The desserts were very good, and there were even some regular finger-foods, like fruit and cheese and crackers. And there was plenty to drink!

    Hope that helps.

Oh yes, thank you, that helps alot! I just wasn't sure how much time I would have to do some shopping and whatnot...yes, you know, I've heard that about there being no chairs. Why don't they have some tables and chairs scattered around? That is odd.
Could people maybe sit on the floor near a wall in an out of the way place if they wanted? Ah well, it's something I won't be at, I was just curious about it. I'm sure my husband and little boy will like it though, I will pass on the "no chairs" part.
Thanks for the great info, I appreciate it!!!!!
