View from Poly villas

We're considering a lake-view villa at Poly and I'm curious about the view. Do the bungalows get in the way of the view from the villas? We've always wanted to stay there and it sounds like this time may be our best option. Thanks in advance!

We've only stayed at the Poly villas lake-view once. I would have to say that the bungalows definitely get in the way of the lake view, especially if you are staying on a lower floor. Initially, we were pretty excited, because we got a 2nd-floor lake view that was near the TTC, and we actually had a direct view of the castle from our balcony. I think we had one of the few unobstructed room views of the fireworks. Unfortunately, we also had the ferry boat horns blaring every few minutes from 7AM until midnight (or later). Next time we go (and we will go back because we love Poly), we'll get a standard view room away from TTC. We didn't think it was worth the lake-view..... at least not from that particular experience.
