    Default Backyard BBQ

    Is it a must to make a resy for Mickey's Backyard BBQ or can you walk up and go? I've always done the hoop dee doo when i go to disney but since this year im staying at the fort, i was thinking of just doing one or the other or do i just do both?

    I think you can walk up but making a reservation might be your best bet. You probably could even make it the same day. We've haven't been in years -- since the kids were small. I think it is more geared towards kids - but that's just my opinion. I thought Hoop Dee Doo was much better but if you can do both, why not!!!!

    Do the Barbecue, we took are granddaughter and grandson ( 3 & 6 ). Had a blast dancing with Mickey & Minnie plus other characters. Food was great as well as all the entertainment.

    Lot of fun for the kids - I would definitely go. Try to get there early and get a seat in front of the stage floor - they pick kids to be in the show!

    My kids LOVE Mickey's Backyard BBQ! I highly recommend reservations since (I believe) it's only offered two days a week and when I called I had to settle for a date since I could not get the date I originally wanted.

    It's LOTS of fun for the kids ... they get to dance with their favorite characters while a live band plays. The food is excellent BBQ cuisine!
