    Default Planning for Christmas Week

My DS just started his DCP (Buzz attractions at TL) and we decided to drive down on Christmas week (12/23-30) to try and share the holidays with him. We have a timeshare offsite booked and a car for the week as well.

I'm looking for advice and suggestions on what to do/see that are special for the holidays since we have never been in WDW for the Christmas season.

I know MVMCP ends on the 22nd and we are trying to see if we can get there a day early to catch that. I saw the schedule for the Epcot Candlelight Processional so we may do a dining package for that. I know many of the resorts (GF especially) have special holiday decorations that we want to see.

Do I need to worry about getting into the parks on these days since we are not staying on site? Since both our kids (DD & DS) did DCP this year we have been to the parks several times so we are more interested in special holiday things rather than the rides in general.

There are days during the Christmas break that the parks will reach capacity. They will close in stages. Off -site guests are the first they block out. Just be sure to be in the parks early. Be flexible with your plans and you should be fine. DO have your DS check for days that he will be blocked from the parks. It is usually only a couple days and it usually only effects MK and EPCOT
