Default MHSSHP and dining reservations at MK

My friends over in the Dining discussion forum section all suggested that I do the earliest dining reservations that I can the night we are attending the MNSSHP so we don't miss out on all the special events.

If they only let you in the park at 4:00 PM is that the earliest they would allow to book somewhere to eat or could I possibly get in to Magic Kingdom earlier than 4:00 PM if I had a ADR?

4PM would be the earliest you would be let in regardless of having an ADR or not. If you want something earlier you could try one of the monorail resorts.

The only way you could enter before 4 pm would be if you have a regular park ticket for the day. I agree that maybe a resort would be easiest to do a meal before the party if all you have is the party ticket. That way you do not miss valuable party time

We always got ready for the Halloween party and then headed to a dinner reservation shortly after 4 pm. You still get plenty of party time.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

I would most definitely try to book a monorail resort meal before 4. I just can't see using precious party time sitting down for a meal. The tickets cost a fortune these days so to me it would seem like a huge waste to use that time for a sit down meal. We always just did quick service on our party nights.

If you have girls in your party the afternoon tea at Grand Floridian might be fun. You can book that around 2 pm and it seems like a decent amount of food that can hold you over for a while. Then just grab snacks or QS while at the party.
