Default Disney Dining Plan - New Beverage Options

Our upcoming trip will our first since the new beverage options with the DDP. Can someone provide details how it works? Is the special drink only offered with the Table Service meal? Or is a floating credit that you can use any tine / any place during the day? Any trips and tricks would be helpful. Thanks!

Does this mean they're no longer offering free refills on soda and tea? Or, are these specialty sodas and teas, like bottled root beer or Arizona tea?

Thanks Jason but one question. So do you get one "specialty drink" per day or per meal (both CS and TS)?

You get one specialty drink per meal TS & QS. At least that is how it worked when we were there in January. Most restaurants have a $$ limit that our drink can go up to. Most places we went that included everything on the drink menu. Only a couple had wines that were not included.

Like Zippy shared, it is per meal.

Essentially, the beverage part of the Table Service and Quick Service Meal Credit can be used for a "Specialty Drink".
