    Default Halloween Horror Nights

    Hey guys,

Wife and I are heading to Food and Wine first week in November, and we are going to the dark side on OCT 31st for the Halloween Horror Night. We purchased the Tickets for Horror night, for this night and the express pass that night.

We get in to Orlando around Noon on the 31st and we were thinking of going to Universal for the Day, we have NEVER been.

Do we need to purchase tickets to the parks separate? I assume our Horror night tickets will NOT get us in the park before hand.

Also with this being during the week, and off season, could we get a lot done in the 5-6 hours before the Horror stuff starts?

The wife is Potter fan and I am wanting to get her to see that area.

Thank you all for any help you may provide.

    Have a Magical Day!

    Keith
It's a great big beautiful tommorrow!

With an HHN ticket you will not be able to access the park prior to the event starting. You should be able to get a lot done in 5 hours prior to the party though, especially if you are concentrating on specific areas and attractions.

The last few years Diagon Alley has been open for part of the HHN event. Nothing goes on there HHN wise (JK Rowling will not permit) but it is amazing to see at night.

I will be heading down in September for HHN again! Cannot wait. 10 houses this year is going to be great.

All I can say is its a good thing you got an express pass! Opening weekend has been INSANE with crowds! We've been the last 3 years and never seen it this packed, even getting into the garage was crazy! It's a good idea either A: going to the park during the day (they make you exit & re-enter however) or B: hanging out at City Walk during the day beforehand. With it being halloween be ready for some crowds for sure. Also don't expect to walk right in with express pass. On avg it still took us 20 mins or so per house depending on how busy it was (Stranger Things took 40 mins, better than the 120 posted).
Universal does an amazing job with this event though. It's my favorite for sure
