Default Fast Pass question with 2 parks in 1 day

We are doing a quick Disney trip over President's day weekend in February and will be in Magic Kingdom 1 day and then doing 2 parks ( Hollywood Studio and Epcot ) our second day.

So the question is on the second day doing 2 parks how can I work my fast passes? Can I do 1 in Hollywood Studio in the morning and then 2 in Epcot Center in the afternoon?

Or do they have to be used at one time in one park?

Even though been there many times this will be the first doing 2 parks in 1 day

    Thanks!

Your initial 3 have to be used in the same park. I'd hit rope drop at your first park and then schedule your 3 FP for your second park.

That's what we do as well on hopping days ... book FP+ for the second park.

However, if you do book them for the first park, once you've used your first three, you can start booking in the second park, before you arrive there, so at least you can have one lined up.

Do you have to use the first three FP at the first park before you make the FP for the second park? We don't usually hop. This time we will.

Yes, you actually have to use the 3 before you can get a new one. If you "skip" one, once the time for that has passed (and you've already used the other 2), you can go to a kiosk and cancel the one you skipped. Then you should be able to grab another. By now, you might be able to cancel on the app (we couldn't at the time).

Something we experienced a few years ago, and I'm not sure if it's still true or not - but when we were finished with our 3 FPs in EPCOT, and then wanted to make a 4th at Studios - we couldn't make one at Studios until we physically exited EPCOT. A cast member told us that's how it works. As soon as we left EPCOT through the International Gateway, we went into MDE and could access FP at Studios.

Have a great time. Sounds like a fun and full 2 days!
