Default February plans - first time on dining plan

We have never done dining plan before because we thought it would be too much to eat but we booked an extra trip with free dining so from our 15 TS allowances this is what we have booked so far:
    Chefs de France 1
Artist point 1 (new character meal)
    Flying Fish 2
    Coral Reef 1
    Yak and Yeti 1
    Le Cellier 2
    Boathouse 2
    Tony's townsquare 1

Couldn't get in to Cinderellas Royal Table but we were a bit late booking. So still 4 TS and 15 CS left! We may have been right about too much - lol

It is certainly a ton of food. But we have always enjoyed the dining plan (and almost always got it for free).

    A couple of thoughts -

    1. You can convert those QS credits to multiple snack credits if you find towards the end of the week that you still have some. And then you can load up on ice cream, cupcakes, fruit, etc. I'm always amazed at how many snack credits we still have at the end of the week.

    2. Akershus is an excellent Princess meal if you can't get in to Cinderella's Royal Table. And I think the food is really good at Akershus.

    3. Teppan Edo is a really good and entertaining restaurant. Highly recommended.

    4. California Grill is just about my favorite restaurant on property. It would be 2 credits, but it looks like you have them to spare!

    5. If you run out of TS dining credits, just slip off-site for a meal.

    Enjoy!

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

Boma or Sanaa (1TS) or Jiko (2TS) in Animal Kingdom Lodge are all good.

O'Hana (1 credit) and Hoop Dee Doo (2 credits) are a good choice. We aren't a fan of Coral Reef or Chefs de France. I also think there are better places than Tony's. Still waiting to see reviews of the new Artist Point!

Did you mean 'Ohana? There is no Irish restaurant called O'Hana on property. LOL JUST PICKING!!!!!

Love 'Ohana, but not big on Hoop-Dee-Doo. It's a one-and-done for me. Same with Spirit of Aloha and Mickey's Backyard Bar-Be-Cue.

Agreed but we didn't fancy going down to AKL for an evening meal although we love Jiko

Not done Hoop de doo but don't like Ohanas. We haven't been to Coral Reef in years so thought it time to give it another chance. We usually like Chef de France and agree Tony's is variable but current menu looks quite good. Am not at all sure what the new Artist Point will be like but I will review it!

We just managed to add dinner at Cinderellas Royal table. :-)

Also got a fast pass for Avatar flights of passage today for our trip! :-) DH has not done it and he may like it.
