9 popular events from the land to the sea have been announced to return in 2019. Here's a look at the new fun you can find at these returning events across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the Disney Cruise Line.

1- 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts

This celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts returns January 18 - February 25. New for 2019, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series will expand to seven days a week, so you can bask in live Disney magic more than ever. The festival also will feature 13 Food Studios, a variety of workshops led by professional artists, interactive exhibits and activities, and much more.

2- 2019 Lunar New Year Celebration

Ring in the Year of the Pig with 24 days of Lunar New Year celebrations at Disney California Adventure park, January 25 to February 17. A joyous celebration of Asian cultures, Lunar New Year welcomes guests of all ages to commemorate traditions with beloved Disney characters, and welcome another year of good fortune. Enjoy multicultural performances, fun-filled activities, beautiful décor, delicious cuisine and themed merchandise. One of the highlights is “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession,” a bright and bold parade hosted by Mulan and her faithful dragon, Mushu. This year, the parade will feature the Three Little Pigs as a special treat for the Year of the Pig.

3 - At Sea With Marvel and Star Wars in 2019


Marvel Day at Sea and Star Wars Day at Sea are both returning to Disney Cruise Line in Early 2019, giving you and your family the chance to sail with your choice of super heroes or Jedi. During these special sailings, you get to spend a full day immersed in the world of your favorite stories. These action-packed cruises feature epic entertainment, themed activities and an abundance of character meet and greets. Plus, Captain Marvel will make her Disney debut during Marvel Day at Sea before her movie is released in March!

4 – 2019 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival

The popular culinary festival expands to eight weeks, March 1 to April 23. Guests will explore California-inspired cuisine and beverages, plus live entertainment, family-friendly seminars and cooking demonstrations. Kids can even join the fun with hands-on “cooking” experiences that end with a tasty surprise. Foodies will broaden their palettes at more than a dozen mouthwatering Festival Marketplaces, featuring small plates, specialty wines and craft beers. To taste your way through the festival, the Sip and Savor Pass will be available for all guests looking to try a variety of dishes. In addition, limited-time, Festival-inspired menu items will be served at restaurants throughout Disney California Adventure park.

5 - 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Welcome spring’s arrival with this popular festival, which returns March 6 - June 3. This year’s event will feature delectable bites at outdoor kitchens, as well as dozens of world-renowned, Disney-themed topiaries. In addition, the Garden Rocks Concert Series will include three shows a day for all 90 days of the event.

6 - 2019 H2O Glow Nights

Typhoon Lagoon’s after dark beach parties return Thursdays and Saturdays from May 30 through August 24. These parities transform the water park into a new nighttime experience through special music, lighting and food. Come party with friends from Pixar’s “Toy Story” films during the 30th anniversary summer of Typhoon Lagoon!

7 - 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival


The aromas and flavors of global marketplaces will welcome you to the 24th year of this renowned festival. You’ll have a chance to meet celebrity chefs, try new food and wine pairings, and listen to great music during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

8 - Holidays on the High Seas 2019

In 2019, Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime cruises are both returning! Both specialty cruises feature decked out ships, magical entertainment and fun you can only find on a Disney ship!

9 - ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex 2019 Events


In August 2019, the Jr. NBA World Championship will return to the complex, showcasing top boys and girls basketball teams from around the world. In December 2019, the 63rd Pop Warner Super Bowl will bring hundreds of young football players to Walt Disney World to compete in national championship games.
