Default Fast pass plus for 2nd park you go to

Has anyone ever gotten fast passes for the 2nd park you are going to hop to instead of the one you start at? Example: Go to MK and ride a few rides right when it opens before the lines get long, then hop over to AK and ride the 3 FP plus rides.

In this scenario, it sounds like you would not have any fastpasses in your first park but only ride in standby when lines are shorter. If that is the case, there is no problem with your scenario - just make your fastpasses for later in the day for the second park you will be hopping to.

We did this on our recent trip. We left the toddler with Grandma and explored Epcot World Showcase and used our FP for later in the day at MK. This gave us a date day and toddler some extra sleep and resort time. We had no problems with the scheduling. Just give yourself ample time for traveling between parks - rushing is never any fun.

We have done it both ways around in our 2017 trip.

We had a day where we had Fastpasses booked for Animal Kingdom, but due to a hurricane we had lost our final day in the park, so this was our last day. We wanted a final trip to Magic Kingdom so we went to MK in the morning, then moved to Animal Kingdom in the afternoon and used Fastpasses for Everest, River Journey and Safari.

The other way around, we once had three morning Fastpasses booked for Magic Kingdom, with a plan to move to Epcot later. After using our three Fastpasses we noticed we checked the app and found at Epcot we could get Fastpasses for Test Track at about 3pm. We took the monorail across and ended up using Fastpasses in two parks on the same day.
