Toy Story Land or even Pixar Land?
Are either due to make an appearance in WDW?

Not in the way they are in Disneyland, but Toy Story Land just opened in DHS last summer. Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers and new entrance to Toy Story Midway Mania from that area.
Pixar "Land" not so much, but the old area that had the entrance to TSMM is becoming a Pixar/Incredibles based area.

Any anything less than Carsland/Racers is a letdown

I really like Slinky Dog Dash as does my DD who has ridden over two dozen times. Over a dozen of those times during cast member dress rehearsals
