Default 25% Increase in Annual Pass Prices in effect NOW! (6/18/2019)

New pricing for Annual Passes effective immediately

Platinum Plus Annual Pass $1,219.00 (up from $999.00 -- 22% increase)
Platinum Annual Pass $1,119.00 (up from $899.00 -- 24.5% increase)
Water Parks Annual Pass $139.00 (don't know what it WAS)

    These are, basically, 20-25% increases.

Makes you wonder what the standard MYW ticket is going to go up to...
$150.00 for a single-day/single-park ticket during the 'slow' times?????

    Ridiculous!!!

We are so upset about this. We were finally going to upgrade to APs on our trip in August. It just doesn't make sense now. That is an $800 increase for a family of four!

    Yeah, I feel you there.

After my initial shock, I still see that you can get your value out of an AP within 10 single day visits, not accounting for the included MemoryMaker in the AP.

Also, I am a big proponent of Disney paying their employees, read Cast Members, a "living" wage. That money has to come from somewhere....

Expensive, yes, but still a bargain if you are going to do multiple, multi-day trips within the AP year. Am I happy about the size of the increase, or the fact that MYW ticket will undoubtedly rise accordingly very shortly? NO!

Wow. I guess announcements like this shouldn't surprise us anymore. So 20%-25% increase now? And that's on top of the 5%-10% increase just 8 months ago. So while there still will be value in these tickets, that value is diminishing at a concerning rate. I'm trying to recall what these passes cost just a few years ago - AP prices must be close to doubling in the last 5 years.

I expect this is far less about employee pay increases than it's about Star Wars and paying for that. They've been building up to this Star Wars opening for many years now. They're going to take advantage of the expected crowds and demand.

Any indication how big an increase for renewing the APs?

We are in the same boat. We leave in three days and were getting APs. Now I have to come up with $700 in the next few days in order to still do it. Ugh. I was expecting an increase but planned for $50-75 a person, not $225 each. Now I'm just stressed about money and where to cut expenses and not just getting to be excited about going!

Nothing has ticked me off more than resort parking fees. I know there's a lot to choose from, but that one just boils my blood!

Stop making excuses for the vile, shameless, filthy rich executives making dozens of millions of dollars a year.

I feel the same way. I’m going to use my annual pass for one more visit, then I’m done for awhile. I’ve been staying on site since 1973, and this one has put me over the edge.

The gouging continues. Hawaii is looking better all the time, and cheaper.

As long as the turnstiles keep turning pretty much to capacity, Disney has no incentive to do anything else but raise prices. I have felt priced out for several years already, but I also can't afford a Ferrari. I wish they were affordable too.

When I saw discussion of this on Twitter, I thought back to when APs cost less than a 10 day park hopping ticket, had no blackout dates, free parking, plus a bunch of other little discounts all over the property. It is really out of control. I feel like they'd prefer to discontinue the concept entirely, but will continue to sell them at ridiculous prices to those who insist upon it.

It's been rumored for awhile that it would be a 20-25% increase so not too surprising. The parks are packed, Star Wars is about to open and Disneyland has seen some big increases in the cost of their APs.

Would you be shocked if I say another 5 to 6 percent in October???
