    Default FastPass Question

Did our FastPass this morning as we were 60 days out. To say the least, that was an experience!

When will the FastPass option become available for the Millennium Falcon and the Guardian of the Galaxy? Will I have to check my reservations daily to see if those rides are bookable?

It's just my husband and myself and we thought it VERY frustrating with this "tier" option. We have been through this process many times before (this is our 32rd time to the Magic), but this was very painful. We are riding Slinky Dog at 7:20pm! We were lucky to get that considering we have dinner reservations at 6:00pm! What's up with that? We will check from time to time and see if other times and ride options open up between now and the time we leave. Heaven help us!

They have said that they will not have Millennium Falcon Fast Passes for now. Guardians of the Galaxy doesn't have an opening date yet aside from 'in time for the 50th birthday celebration' so no fastpasses for that, either.

Not likley, for Millennium Falcon on your upcoming trip. As Aryn mentioned, Disney has stated that they do not intend to offer FastPass for any of the attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. While this policy could change, it would not likely be until sometime in 2020 at the earliest (if ever).

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is still under construction with a 2021 projected opening date. You can check out the recent preview video of the ride vehicles here for now.

Agreed, the tiers now make Fastpass nearly unusable at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I think for our upcoming RunDisney trip we didn't even pick a 3rd FastPass option because there is nothing to choose from. Might be worth it if the Stand By lines get shorter as a result, but otherwise it seems like a very bad adjustment to the system (which wasn't great to begin with).

Yep, that is the best advice!

Do keep checking, but realize that at this point, it is unlikely that you'll see any change in FP availability for the headliners UNTIL a few days before the date you want. The most likely time for snagging a FP (or changing a time) for one of the headliners will be the evening before and the morning of the day you're looking for. That's when constant refreshing will be the most effective. Still no guarantee, but the odds of something showing up are significantly better.
