My DS and I wanted to see if we could get on the Rise of Resistance even though we did have ADR's at LeCellier at 3:45 which we were looking forward to!

DD decided to sit this one out and we would meet her later. We took an Uber to the Studios which was easy! We arrived around 5:45 and it was quite full but not awful. They let us in at 6:15 so we went and grabbed a bench on Sunset and people watched. My DS and I both had the app and were ready to go. As soon as they announced it, I hit the button (meantime people were already cheering) and boom I got it! We had boarding group 60 so I was hopeful we would make it on before we had to leave for Epcot.

We did Rockin Roller Coaster and that was a great way to wake up! We headed over to Star Wars Land and took it all in. It was our first visit and it was amazing and we really appreciated the detail. DS had reservations at 9 to make a droid which he really loved. We had it shipped to the hotel so it was nice not to have to walk around with it!

We wandered around and did One Mans Dream and Star Tours waiting for our boarding group to be called. So far it seem to be running smoothly. We got the call at 10:30 and on the way we went.. As we are approaching the ride we see ropes.. ugh the ride is down. So close! They had no idea what time it would be opened. We headed over to Smugglers Run and went in the single rider line. I'm not a huge fan unless you are a pilot.. We walked around some more and finally the boarding process started again (this is around 11:45). Yay!

The "experience" was amazing and so glad I got to share with with my DS! He is such a fan and it brings me back to all the Star Wars Legos and the movies he watched growing up!

We wanted to get off our feet for a bit, so back to the room to get my DD and take a very quick break!

I just want to mention here how much I love the atmosphere of the Coronado, my now 2nd favorite resort...

We head over to Epcot by bus and it unexpectedly rained a bit (same as day before actually, I forgot to mention!). We had a great meal and it is one of our favorite places for sure! We were really full so we headed over to Pixar shorts and then the Land.

We had FP for Soarin which I love so much but miss the California version..

I had booked the Frozen dessert party which was great. Although we were still somewhat full, we manage to have some great desserts, a couple of drinks (alcohol included) and a perfect table right at the water! I did hear the people next to us complain to a cast member that they had to share with strangers.. We did not and would have been fine if we did. I of course can talk to a wall but some people wouldn't like that and I understand.

I love hearing Walts voice in Epcot forever and enjoyed the show. I would do it again.

They let us know that we would head over around 9:30 to Frozen and we lined up and followed the cast member. We felt very important with our special escort to the ride! We all just enjoy the ride and puts us in a great mood!

After the ride the park is mostly cleared out which is an added bonus. The bus came fairly quickly and after being up since 5:15 a.m. I hit the pillow hard at 11 p.m.! I was tired! We had no plans in the morning so that was a nice feeling. I still set my alarm so I could enjoy some coffee by the water in the sunshine! Its one of my favorite things to do when I'm in Florida in the winter.. We can't do that in New England in Jan!

Tomorrow is Disney Springs, back to the Studios and the first time ever to Fantasmic!
