    Upper Deck has added Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy to its stable of sports stars as the trading card company has reached a multi-year agreement to become the master card licensee for the Walt Disney Company. The first set to be produced under the contract, a 90-card Disney Authentic set, releases in August and will feature a variety of Disney's animated characters from throughout the years.

    Sold in five-card packs (SRP $1.99), the product will feature 90 Disney Heroes & Villains regular set, 45 Mickey Mouse Filmography subset , Feature Celebration: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves insert set, Memorabilia cards including Reel Piece of History (authentic pieces of classic Disney film placed inside the card, 1:box), Authentic Disney Sketch cards (10 Disney artists will each sketch 10 cards of their favorite character) and a one-of-one Walt Disney Cut Signature card.     I wish they would sell them as a complete set like baseball cards...all in one box. That would really be something!

    No kidding! That is how I used to buy baseball cards was by the set...No more of the "hoping" you got that one card you wanted. Maybe they will come out with it later

    Just received treasures cards from upper deck. They are very impressive. Top quality. I was also lucky enough to get a piece of film from "Beauty and the Beast". Pinch me, I must be dreaming. Definitely a must for any Disney fanatic!!

    Question

    I bought some at Target this weekend. I really like them. I was wondering if anyone else got an Eeyore "Hero" one. Mine has Eeyore spelled with only one E. It says Eyore. Is any body elses like this?

    As far as I know, they're cards for collecting and trading - along the same lines as baseball cards.
