    Question Engagement! Ideas!!!

Please tell me how you proposed in WDW or any ideas you may have?
My son is trying to do something different to surprise her? She loves
Elsa, but characters are not allowed to get involved. We are videotaping it
for her parents, so we want it to be during daylight. We will be staying at
the Boardwalk. My brother and Mom will be with us!!

My now husband did the classic "in front of the castle after the fireworks" and it was awesome.

Does she have a favourite ride, or a favourite restaurant? Would she want something big, or small and personal? (I would have killed my husband and said no if he did a big, public proposal, so it is something to keep in mind).

The Disney Florist does deliveries to restaurants, so that could be fun, get something delivered to start, and it end with the proposal. If there is a favourite ride, he could propose when the picture is being taken (although you couldn't videotape it then).

There is a pavilion where Disney does weddings close to the Boardwalk. It is on the water. He could propose there if you want to keep it very private.
Staff at restaurants can help. The restaurant in the castle used to have a glass slipper that you could put the ring in. I don't know if they still have it or not.
In front of the fireworks is already mentioned
He could do it while getting pictures taken by a photopass photographer. Start out with the traditional photos and then he gets down on one knee.
Tell us more about what the couple likes and we can give you more ideas.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

We were at GF for another wedding and relaxing by the pool on the day we arrived when in the courtyard between the pool and main building a flash mob appeared in front of a couple where the guy had arranged to have his intended serenaded by this group at which point he dropped to his knew and presented her a ring afterwards. I don't have any more specifics beyond that if they were staying onsite or if these were friends of his or he hired a team, but it was definitely interesting to see. Most people in the vicinity stopped what they were doing to see what was going on. Pretty cool!

There was this really cool one at Downtown Disney in Disneyland where this guy planned a flash mob with their friends. I showed it to my tech here at work and started crying again. She was like "are you crying about this again? You gotta stop watching these." lol

After rope drop, made our way to the first intersection past Casey's, on main street on the way to the castle. Proposed there. Then, she smiled like her head was going to crack the rest of the day, helped up her ring hand on every ride photo op, and enjoy the perks of the just engaged pin. I was off the hook earlier in the trip, and then could relax after lugging the ring all the way to orlando, through my usual random searches/pat downs, and making it to the park.
