Default When will water return to Paradise Bay?

Hey all, just a question that came up yesterday.

Wasn't sure of the answer.

I know that it was already scheduled to have water back in it, but does anyone know?

Thank you.

I'd like to know this too...

Was just there this morning. Still no water, and they were still banging away in there at all those pipes...

That whole area really looked strange last week without water and the platform full of all sorts of pipes, wires, tubes and water jets. We noticed that they were doing some waterproofing of the walls Friday, so I suspect they're almost ready to open the floodgates.

Although it looks pretty bad right now, I'm confident that the end result will be well worth the $$$$.

Have no doubt that it will be well worth the wait.

Paradise Pier has always been my favorite part of the park hence the moniker.

I just want it to feel and look like a Pier again.

I know the show is a ways off.
Not rushing it.
I know it will be amazing.
I know I will enjoy it a great deal.

That being said, bring on the water!

There are several sites that are tracking the construction with photos taken on a weekly, if not daily basis. Nobody really knows when it will be filled, but there are several rumors that it will be soon. Having sat at the presentation for World of Color at D23, I'm even more excited to see the show when it is done.

I'm sure they want to make sure everything is as it should be before they start filling it with water. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets drained and refilled more than once before it stays full of water. They are putting a lot of stuff underwater, and while much of it can surface for maintenance, not everything can come above water.

Although no specific date has been mentioned, the filling of Paradise Bay has been announced as happening "soon". And once the process begins it should only take days. Read the story from the NEWS page.

It's a trick.
They aren't completely re-filling the bay yet.

They stopped at the platform level.
Still lots of tools / equipment / debris to be removed before it can be completely refilled.

Went last night.
Had an enjoyable evening.
Was great to get a few reflection shots in the water again.
