Universal Studios Florida - At a Glance

Universal has something for everyone, from arcade games and stunt shows to Nickelodeon and thrill rides. The Studio takes advantage of its Hollywood connection with open rides and exhibits, tying it all in with the Movies. The Park is divided into 6 neighborhoods: New York, Production Central, Hollywood, World Expo, San Francisco/Amity, and Woody Woodpecker's Kid Zone.

How to get there:
Exit I-4 at Exit #30A (Universal Blvd.) Take a left onto Universal Blvd. and follow the signs to Universal Studios.

Parking:
Parking fees per vehicle: Cars, vans and motorcycles: $14.00 - RVs and trailers: $20.00 Valet parking is available for cars and vans at a charge of $22. Simply follow the signs to the valet parking area.

Preferred Parking for cars, vans and motorcycles is $18.00 per day. This is parking that is closer to the entrance. Less walking.

Guests can also be dropped off and picked up at the Transportation Center located beneath the Rotunda of the Parking Garage. Follow the signs to the Bus Parking and Guest drop-off area when entering Universal Studios from any the entrances.

Park Hours:
Universal Studios is open 365 days a year. Operating hours normally begin at 9 a.m. Closing times vary with the season and holidays.

Services:
General Services include: First Aid, Kennel Boarding, Postal Services, Telephones, Child/Baby Swap Program, Lost Children, Nursing Facilities, and Companion Restrooms. Rentals are available for Strollers, Wheelchairs & Lockers.

Restaurants:
Guests can choose from a bounty of dining experiences. There are eateries scattered throughout the various neighborhoods.
Choose from snacks, counter service and sit down dining.

Attractions:

Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast - Take a journey in a rocket as Jimmy Neutron sends you through the worlds of your favorite Nicktoons, including Spongebob, Fairly OddParents and the Rugrats. Must be at least 40”. Persons under 40” must experience this attraction from an adjacent stationary location.

Twister - Experience this act of nature up close and personal. Hear the sounds and feel the rushing wind as it approaches. This 50' tall and 12-foot wide storm heads right towards you.

Revenge of the Mummy - Plunge into total darkness and face scarab beetles, fireballs, and a frightening army of mummy warriors!
Must be at least 48".

Terminator 2 - 3D show surrounded by adventure. Watch the Terminator come to life, as you duck out of the way of flying debris and explosions.

Universal Studios Horror Make-Up Show - Learn how the horror movies come into being. Shared secrets of "How'd They Do That?" are revealed by special effects make-up Artists. (25 minutes)

Men In Black - You'll be recruited to save Earth from an Alien Attack. Zap Aliens as you zoom through the streets of New York. Your status is based on your final score. Must be at least 42” ; 42” to 48” must be accompanied by an adult.

Shrek 4-D - Visit this new 4-D adventure and encounter your favorite Shrek characters.

Disaster - Everyone climbs aboard a subway car. Catastrophe strikes from every direction, as an 8.3 Richter scale tremor begins to tremble. You'll encounter fire, floods, blackouts and crumbling structures. (20 minutes)

Jaws - Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water! Troop onto a terror filled boat ride. Your boat comes under attack by explosions, noise, shaking and gnawing shark teeth. Don't think you're safe when you arrive back at the boathouse!

ET Adventure - Guests board bicycles mounted on a moveable platform and pedal through wonderful forests, magic gardens and across the moon. All in an attempt to find ET his way back to his home planet. (5 minutes)

Universal Animal Actors on Location - See some of the most talented animal actors from TV and the movies live on stage. Dogs, cats, birds, pigs and orangutans perfom. (20 min show)

The Blues Brothers - Join Jake & Elwood who bring their soulful sounds from the streets of Chicago to this live stage show.

Beetlejuice Graveyard Review - This live rock and roll show features Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein, singing, dancing, comedy and pyrotechnics.

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit - A multisensory rollercoaster where you pick the music and a camera records your 65mph ride with several "near misses". Must be at least 51" to ride.

The Simpson Ride - Ride through Krustyland with America's favorite animated family. This is a motion ride and you must be at least 40" to ride.

Fievel's Playground - Based on Fievel the mouse, this playground includes a four story net climb equipped with tubes, ladders, tunnel slides and rope bridges. There is also a ball crawl, 30-foot spider web, mazes and a 200-foot water slide.
Designed for Toddlers and Preschoolers.

A Day in the Park with Barney - Meet Barney and his friends at this live show. Filled with songs, laughs and treats. (25 minutes)

Woody Woodpecker's Nut Coaster - Meander through Woody's Nuthouse, encountering gears and gadgets. Must be at least 36” ; 36-48” must be accompanied by an adult

Curious George Goes to Town - The Studio's interactive water playground. children will get very wet.
