Magic Kingdom

The Hall of Presidents will be dark from November 1, 2008 through July 1, 2009. An Audio-Animatronics version of President Barack Obama will join representations of the previous 43 presidents of the United States as part of an attraction that has been celebrating American history since Walt Disney World Resort opened in 1971. Disney Imagineers are also updating a broad array of show elements.

Space Mountain will be closed for a lengthy rehab from April 19 through November 21, 2009.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority will be closed for refurbishment from April 19 - August 24, 2009.

Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. (Arcade) closed April 19 - November 21, 2009

Hollywood Studios

Sounds Dangerous is temporarily closed and will be Operating Seasonally starting January 4, 2009.

Resorts & Beyond

Contemporary Resort:
Tennis Courts: 10/1/06 - 8/3/09
Guests may use other tennis courts, such as the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort tennis courts, as an alternative.

North Garden Wing/Bay Lake Tower: 7/9/07 - 8/3/09
The North Garden wing area is closed to Guests while the new Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is being constructed. Guests will first be checking into this new Disney Vacation Club location 8/4/09.

Contemporary Playground: Fall 2006 - 8/3/09

Water Parks
