Walt
Disney World resort is not only known for their great attractions and great
resort hotels; but also, for their great dining options. From grab on the go
to 5 star gourmet meals you can find it all at Disney World.
There are three types of dining venues at the Walt Disney World resort.
First there are Snack Locations. This type includes “Quick Bite” (which may
be just a cart or a counter with no formal seating area), “Refreshment”,
“Lounge Service”, and some “Counter Service” locations (when no meals are
offered). Next there is Counter Service Meals, this type is a restaurant
with a central counter area where guests get food and then dine in a seating
area that is part of the restaurant.
The final and most formal type is Table Service Dining. This type commonly
offers reservations and includes “Sit-Down Service” (where guests are seated
and have their food served to them), “Pre-plated Service” (where the entree
is set as part of the meal), “Buffet Service” (where guests serve themselves
at a buffet), and “Family Style Service” (where guests are served large
quantities of food at a time). Both “Buffet Service” and “Family Style
Service” are all-you-care-to-eat.
