<< Introduction >>

Is it hot enough for you? Pull up a chair in front of the A/C with your favorite summer beverage and take a break. Your lawn can wait a few more minutes. We have lots to tell you about in this issue. Most importantly, we want to introduce you to a special little boy, Sam, who needs your help. He is fighting T-cell ALL Leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.

Also in this issue Casey fills us in on what's going on in Disney World, Carol keeps us up-to-date with the site and Ray takes a break from his Disneyland adventures for some bytes and pieces. One more thing; if you've seen a strange being scurrying around the INTERCOT hallways late at night, don't worry it's only JohnY. He's been busy stocking the INTERCOT Store with new merchandise, as well as lowering the prices on current items. Now let's get on with the details.

<< Final Day To Help Sam - June 15 >>

The INTERCOT Pixie Dust Chain of support is legendary and has helped comfort many a member over the years. Now, we have a member who needs more Pixie Dust than INTERCOT has ever had to muster before. Little Sam Wood (he just turned 2) is fighting T-cell ALL Leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. His family needs assistance in covering the post-transplant expenses. Now thru June 15th, we're looking to you, the INTERCOT Community to help Sam. As a thank you for members that do contribute, INTERCOT has obtained a limited supply of special wristbands. They’re gold and bear the phrase “INTERCOT.COM – PIXIE DUST FOR SAM”. Please consider giving to this worthy cause.

<< New INTERCOT Apparel >>

Have you been browsing through the INTERCOT store lately? If not - get on over there! JohnY has been dropping prices as well as adding funky new INTERCOT Classic T-shirts and a stylish embroidered jacket. The T-shirts come in an array of colors and range in size from Small-3XL. They have INTERCOT - Est. 1997 - Disney World: Inside & Out logo on front. You can even complete the ensemble by purchasing a baseball cap and shorts to match!

Also new and now available is a fleece lined jacket. It comes in INTERCOT blue and is both water and wind resistant.
It features the INTERCOT logo embroidered on the front and across the back. For an additional $5 you can have your name embroidered on the front. Very nice!

What are you waiting for? If you want/need the latest copy of your favorite Disney DVD, Travel Guides, Collectibles, Bank Checks, Artwork or even Theme Park tickets, it can be found in the INTERCOT store. Let that lawn wait even longer. Grab a shopping cart and get shopping.

<< Disney World Events with DisneyWizard  >>

With June brought about the closures of two long-time attractions, and the extension of one long-time movie celebration. INTERCOTees had much to say about each event, although mostly unanimous in voice.

- Ice Station Cool closed -
After what began as a wild rumor it seems that Epcot’s Ice Station Cool will indeed close for an extended period. Permanently or simply for a rehab is still in the air but it has been closed recently. INTERCOTees are all abuzz with this information.

“This is one of those little attractions that I think are great. It's one of those things that I like to tell people about because most visitor don't even know it's there.” -Spindrift
“We were planning in inducting our four friends to the ‘Beverly’ club and take a pic of the event. What a big, big bummer.” -Fluffatu
“Why would they do this in the summer time?” –i’m grumpy

- Tarzan Rocks to close -
After a long period of crazy rumors Tarzan Rocks, the live show in Animal Kingdom, will be closing in early 2006. Supposedly the closure will allow time to enclose the building to eliminate noise in the surrounding area and to add more shelter from the hot sun. Currently the new show to replace it is only supported by rumors.

“I wasn't crazy about the show, but I know a certain 5 year old who will be quite disappointed to learn the show will not be there in October.” –Noah’s Helper
“No tears here either. I have seen it three times and never warmed to it. It's not his fault but when Tarzan is lowered down his vine I feel like I'm at a Chippendales' revue.” –Beast25
“I'm glad this show is going, it was way to LOUD!” –riding_big_thunder

- Star Wars Weekends extended -
The infamous Star Wars weekends at the Disney-MGM Studios theme park have been extended by two more weekends. The remaining dates for the weekends are June 17-19 & June 24-26, completing its run at the end of June after a total of 6 weekends. The current guests expected to attend include Amy Allen, Matt Wood, Jake Lloyd, and Warren Fu.

“It's a surprise trip for my kids, so [my son] will be so psyched!” –Maleficent’s Dad
“We've made it the last 2 years and were going to barely miss it this time around. My son will be thrilled!” –Disneydol

"Uhhh - I meant to do that. A little shortcut...ha ha!"
- Captain REX (Star Tours)

Oops! You have just accidentally posted your trip report in Dining instead of the Trip Report board. You realize it but you don’t know how to correct the error. There are two main ways to take care of this. Which one you choose to use depends on your ability to edit your posts.

If you’re not too confident in being able to manipulate posts, contact a moderator of the forum that you accidentally placed your post in. What they’ll do is move your thread into the proper forum and if you like, delete the misplaced thread.

You don’t have to contact a moderator though. If you want to handle this yourself, you can. What you’ll need to do is click the “Edit” tab (the tablet and pencil). Now you’ll need to highlight the entire text of your post, then right click the highlighted text and click “Copy”. You can either delete the post now, or if you want to do it the “safe” way, use your “Back” button and go to the forum that you want your post to be in. If your post isn’t a reply to a current topic, click “New Topic”. While in the text window, right click and then click “paste”. This should place the text of your original post into the window. If you wanted your post to be a reply to an existing thread, find the intended thread, click “Reply” and do the same thing as mentioned above to paste your text into the text window. Once you’ve posted your post onto the boards, then you can return to your original post, click “Edit”, click the “Delete Post” box (upper left corner of the edit window), then click the “Edit Post” tab at the bottom of the window. This will delete your original post.

Now your mistake is history and your post is where you want it to be. That wasn’t so hard was it?
