Many Guests enjoy character
breakfasts at Walt Disney World's theme parks, but Guests who book
breakfasts earlier than the park open often have the quandary of how to
get to their breakfast. To help get these Guests to their morning
munchies, Walt Disney World buses typically start running between Disney
Resort Hotels and the 4 theme parks at 7:00 am in order to accommodate
Guests with early breakfast reservations at the parks. Once a the park
Guests should look for a turnstile marked for Guests who have Advanced
Dining Reservations for Breakfast. Guests will be able to enter the
park at this turnstile by providing their reservation number.
A great way to travel between the
Walt Disney World resort and the airport is with Quicksilver Tours &
Transportation. Quicksilver goes to great lengths to ensure that your
trip is exactly how you imagined it at rates lower than standard taxi
rates.

Here's some recent insight
INTERCOTee's have shared in the Disney Vacation Club forum about the
brand new Bay Lake Tower section of Disney's Contemporary Resort:
"I checked into Bay Lake Tower on
Friday morning. My room was ready at 11:00 AM. It's a 1-Bed Room on the
11th floor with a Bay Lake view, right in the middle of the "C", so it
overlooks both the pool and Bay Lake. The views from almost every angle
are great. I love resorts with great views (which is why I like the
Board Walk views at Board Walk Villas), and this resort delivers! The
pool area is nice, the pool bar has some nice food options, and the
slide is fine. The other recreational opportunities, such as the marina
with boat rentals, tennis, etc. are also nice. We had dinner at the
California Grill last night, and then went up to the Top of the World
lounge on the 16th floor of Bay Lake Tower. The lounge and viewing area
on the 16th floor are fantastic and offer great views of the surrounding
area, especially the Magic Kingdom. The appetizers were nice; as was the
drink selection"-- DVC Mike
"We checked into Bay Lake Tower 8/8
for a week. Had a Grand Villa on floors 15 and 16 with Bay Lake view. I
think that view might be even better than Magic Kingdom view. We could
watch the boats going back and forth, the fireworks from Epcot every
night, see the water pageant at Wilderness Lodge 9:30 and then for
Contemporary at 10:00. Pool was great and the water slide fun. The
walkway to Contemporary makes monorail travel convenient. I think they
need a better system for the Lounge. They lock off one elevator in the
South Bank from 5p to 11p just for the lounge. That makes it difficult
for everyone else around supper time trying to get to their dinner
reservations to get out of building. Overall, two thumbs up for Bay Lake
Tower. It's a winner."--AuntLaura

Finding a space for a group to watch
Wishes together at the Magic Kingdom can seem like a daunting task, but
the park has recently introduced a new dining option that can make this
gathering much easier. The new Fireworks Dessert Party grants Guests an
exclusive viewing area for the Wishes fireworks show at the Tomorrowland
Terrace Noodle Station. If that isn't a sweet enough treat by itself,
for one hour before the Wishes fireworks begin, Guests enjoy a
self-service dessert buffet. The Fireworks Dessert Party is priced at
$23.42 for Guests ages 10 and over; $12.99 for Guests Ages 3 - 9.
These parties are currently schedule to continue nightly through October
31, 2009. Guests should call 407-WDW-DINE to book.

Although some Guests find it hard to plan in advance for a sit-down
meal, doing so can save a lot of time once they are on vacation. To
avoid waiting 30 minutes or longer to be seated at a Table Service
restaurant, Guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations. Guests should
be advised that the booking window for these reservations will be
changing again this Fall. Effective October 27, 2009, Advanced Dining
Reservations will go back to a 180 booking window. This does not
affect resort reservation for dates through January 24, 2010. Anyone
booked through January 24, 2010 will continue to use the 90 day booking
window. This change will not impact existing dining, recreation and tour
reservations.
For a hotel that's convenient
on location and on your wallet, consider a stay at the Radisson Orlando
- Celebration. Located in Celebration on 20 beautifully landscaped
acres, the Radisson Orlando - Celebration is only 1.5 miles from Walt
Disney World and provides scheduled shuttle service to all four theme
parks.

Here's what some INTERCOTee's are
saying about the relatively new Kim Possible Adventure at Epcot:
"There is a "sign-in" area at
Innovations, they will scan your park ticket and give you a Fastpass
type ticket with a time and a location for you to start. We've never had
much of a wait, and have been able to start right after World Showcase
opens at 11am. Depending on the size of your group, you might want more
than 1 "kimmunicator" device, but in our family of 3, 1 is all we need.
If you want more than 1, you'll have to sign-up separately. Once you
have your device, you are sent to a country, follow the clues and help
Kim save the world. Each mission (country) takes about 30 minutes,
depending on if you stop to look around. It is quite fun."--ibelieveindisneymagic
"An Epoct must do! Although we didn't
really know who Kim Possible was prior to the trip. Dear daughter (age
7) and I went on the missions. It was a lot of fun! We especially liked
Japan, Norway and England. Dear husband found a nice spot in the shade
and waited for us to stop running around each country. He did
participate in the Japan mission and thought it was brilliant."--Princess'Mom
"We did it when we were down in April
and only did 3 of the countries on the first day. We went back on
another day and when we were checking in the Cast Member asked if we had
done any countries. He then set our Kimmunicator to not cover the
countries we already had done. Dear Son thought it would be really
"dorky", but he really enjoyed doing it once we started. I think we
probably spent about 1 1/2 hrs to do the 3 countries each time. The only
drawback is if you are following someone else, we waited until they had
done the portion in front of us before we started so we wouldn't see
what would happen."--c&d
"Don't for a second think that only
kids are participating in Kim Possible missions - you'll find just as
many adults as children joining in the fun. Certain countries seem to be
more "fun" than others (In my opinion). Japan has some of the coolest
stuff - especially inside the department store. In France, during one of
the missions, your picture is snapped and then sent to your phone (very
cool). All the countries that participate have good missions. Also -
missions can change in a country - so if you get China twice, it may not
be exactly the same both times (although there will undoubtly be similar
experiences). Mission time is totally dependent on the participant. You
could finish it in 15-20 minutes moving quickly, or you could take your
time and really make it last 45+ minutes."--Maleficent's Dad
