Osborne Family Spectacle of  Lights Preview

Back by popular demand at Disney-MGM Studios is one of Disney's biggest holiday spectacles -- The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights. This Disney holiday tradition returns for the 2004 season bigger and better than ever. After eight years of holiday cheer on Residential Street, the display took a short break from the tradition last year to begin construction in the area on the new "Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show". Now the lights will brighten the Streets of America backlot inside the Studios. Click below for a sneak preview of the new display and to view exclusive video footage.

IAAPA 2004 Convention Coverage - Day Two

IAAPA Orlando 2004 coverage continues with day two.  The highlight of the day was Kuka's RoboCoaster G2 which promises to make it's mark in the dark ride, people mover and coaster industries with it's unique new platform which combines a robotic arm with a track based coaster.

Righteous! Crush 'N' Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon

Disney has announced plans for a "water coaster" at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. The ride, called Crush 'N' Gusher, marks a technological first among Central Florida water park attractions, combining steep drops and gravity-defying, coaster-like inclines, with screaming jets of water propelling riders back uphill. IAAPA 2004 Convention Coverage - Day One

IAAPA Orlando 2004 coverage begins today on INTERCOT with many new rides, products and shows covered, including our favorite item so far, an LED Display Jacket from NYX Illuminated Clothing.  It doesn't get much cooler than this!  UPDATE:  We added a few additional pages this morning from day one.  More to come tonight as Day 2 coverage gets posted.
