Choose
Your Team on Mission: Space
Beginning
today guests can select between joining the Orange Team or Green Team when
they "Choose to Go" on Mission: Space. Green Team riders will not experience
any G-Forces.
This new

Pleasure Island Undergoes Major Renovations
Disney's
Pleasure Island was once a nightlife location for grown-ups looking to dance
the night away. The Island is currently under rehab to become a place where
parents and children can also feel comfortable.
"We're going
away from the traditional, adult-only nightclub environment to an
environment where we can appeal to all groups, including adults," said Djuan
Rivers, vice president for Downtown Disney. She went on to say; "The Company
is not giving up on adult-oriented nightlife, or the current clubs, such as
the Adventurers Club, the BET SoundStage or Mannequins Dance Palace.
Partiers are still welcome." The goal is to merge Pleasure Island more with
Marketplace and the West Side.

Disney
to Offer Two Versions of Mission: Space
Beginning
this summer guests will have two choices when riding Epcot's Mission: Space.
Visitors can either go on the current attraction or a new version which will
provide a milder no-spin experience.
In the new
version, the spinning centrifuge will be turned off for guests who are
subject to motion sickness or have other health issues. Signs will be
posted in the queue area outlining the differences between the two rides.
"By offering a second adventure, we hope to broaden the appeal of "Mission:
Space" and enable even more guests to experience the attraction," said Al
Weiss, president of Walt Disney World Resort.
