Anticipated
FastPass+ Enhancements Go Into Effect Monday, April 28
 The
much anticipated enhancements to the Walt Disney World FastPass+
system will be available starting Monday, April 28th. Guests will
now be able to make additional FP+ selections after their original 3
are used, and also guests with park hopping privileges will be able
to make their selections at another park. The additional FP+ must be
obtained at an in park kiosk. This is welcome news for guests
planning an upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Marathon
Weekend Registration Official Opens at Noon Today! Join #runICOT
and #cheerICOT
 From
Wednesday January 7th thru Sunday January 11th, the INTERCOT
community will gather at Walt Disney World's Marathon Weekend. You
don't have to be a runner to join in all the fun that comes along
with an INTERCOT meet, but you can help us raise money for a good
cause: THYCA, The Thyroid Cancer
Survivors Association.
Marathon Weekend
registration opens to the general public at noon today. More details are available on the official
RunDisney
website.
INTERCOT's plans
for the weekend meet and apparel wise are just starting to come
together - but rest assured, you will be running and cheering with many of
your friends from INTERCOT!

First Look:
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Animatronics
Tom Staggs, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, spoke at the
Disney Social Media Moms Celebration in Anaheim, Calif. During the
presentation he unveiled a video that offered the first look at some
of the amazing new characters who will be part of the Seven Dwarfs
Mine Train in New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. These are some
of the most advanced Audio-Animatronics figures Walt Disney
Imagineering has ever created.

Changes Coming to FastPass+ Program
 Per
an announcement via the Disney Parks Blog this morning, plans are in
motion to enhance the FP+ experience at Walt Disney World. Currently
guests can reserve up to 3 fastpasses in a single park per day. But
in the future, Disney says guests will be able to secure more once
the initial 3 are used, and they will be available if guests wish to
park hop. This is positive news in the ever evolving program.

Swan and
Dolphin Go Blue For Autism
 On
April 2, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin will join other
iconic buildings around the world by lighting up blue to bring
awareness for autism and to commemorate World Autism Day. In
addition, Todd English's Blue Zoo, located at the Dolphin, has
created a specialty blue cocktail, with proceeds from the drink
going to a local Orlando school for autism.
