Frontierland

Pioneers behold-a slice of the Old West right here in Florida thanks to creative Imagineering. Rustic buildings and dusty wooden walkways set the scene for a wild time. In the distance, Big Thunder Mountain looms as delighted screams echo through the tunnels of the "wildest ride in the wilderness." Along the way, you will pass Splash Mountain, a whimsical flume ride that takes you on a wild chase as you follow Br'er Rabbit through the countryside, over hills and straight into trouble! Watch bears sing, practice your shooting skills at the arcade, or take raft to explore the caves and forts on Tom Sawyer Island. Frontierland is waiting to be conquered!  

Intercot Tip: Two of the park's best E-Ticket attractions, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain, lie within the boundaries of Frontierland. Positioned right next to each other, they break the cardinal rule of theme park planning. This can lead to you feeling like a sardine in a can on a crowded day. 

When the crowds get to be too much, escape on a raft to Tom Sawyer Island for a relaxing break!
