If I do a split stay (one resort for part of the vacation and one for another), does Disney transport the luggage? I thought I had heard that they do. Does this also apply for the Dolphin? I know it's not an "official" Disney resort.

I do not know whether Disney will transport to/ from the Dolphin. They do between their own resorts.
Many people have done this with no issues I'm sure and the first time we did, it went smoothly as well. But the second time, our luggage was (were?) missing- in-action for the better part of a day. We wasted several hours calling all over trying to track it down.
On our upcoming trip we will take a taxi, and our own bags, from OKW to POR. A short ride so it shouldn't cost much.
