Here at Disney Springs, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar just got a fun and frightful makeover with ghostly new Halloween decor plus eerie eats and sinister sips. With all of that ghoulish fun in one fiendish location, it’s the perfect place for your next round of Halloween treats now through November 4.

New Halloween Hangar Bar Decor

For the first time ever, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs is serving frights and frills amid Halloween-themed decor from Jock’s Halloween collection.

Not to be confused with the holly jolly Christmas festivities during Holiday Hangar Bar you will be immersed in an all-new boo-tiful transformation.

Pumpkin scarecrows meet you at the front entrance. Can you spy one in particular who flies an airplane? He’s mimicking the spirit of Jock Lindsey, but with a chilling twist.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar transforms into a warm and inviting retreat during Halloween, blending the cozy glow of vintage lanterns with playful touches that feel more charming than chilling.

The atmosphere feels like stepping into a nostalgic Halloween party from decades past, where stories are shared over themed cocktails and every corner offers a little discovery.

For those with the tricky luck of dining in the diving bell, you’ve got company. A patch of Jack-O’-lanterns has taken up residence above your head, ready to flicker through the night.

In the far corner of the bar, look for a card stock band of vintage Beistle-style black cat decorations watching over the room like little sentinels of Halloween past. Their mischievous eyes watch as you sip on your chosen concoction, seemingly plotting their next Halloween croon.

All the Halloween decor has been added to Jock’s ever-growing collection of memorabilia from his rollicking pilot adventures. Perched high above and to the right of the bar, look for the “Bigelow’s Air Circus” banner with faded lettering and weathered canvas.

Bigelow’s Air Circus is a reference to the 1991 Disney film The Rocketeer, and you may even see another reference to the film on a ‘South Seas Club’ coaster during your visit.

Jock’s pet boa constrictor must be on the move, because, once again, Reggie’s cage is empty. When he returns, he’ll need to slink past a set of retro blow molds with expressive faces dancing with light.

Festive tinsel garland, popularized in the 1940s, zigzags in front of Jock’s treasures, including a banner for his win in the National Air Races.

Halloween Hangar Bar Bites

The kitschy 1940s Halloween décor is the backdrop for nine new and exclusive sips and nibbles on the devilishly delicious Halloween Hangar Bar menu.

First Look at The Beak and Barrel, Opening August 29

Arrrr you ready for some news my fellow foodies and pirates alike? I shore hope so because the moment you’ve been waiting for is here. The Beak and Barrel will be ready to welcome you starting August 29, 2025, and I’ve got your first look at the menu!

This lively pirate pub is filled with flavor and fun. From seasoned swashbucklers to budding buccaneers of all ages, you’ll want to check out this new location on your next trip to Magic Kingdom.

 All around, you’ll be immersed in an adventure across the Seven Seas with nods to both the classic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and beloved films. As you join the pirate fun, you’ll enjoy thirst-quenching tropical beverages, delicious small bites, sing-alongs, storytelling, and enchanting surprises. Learn more about the backstory of the lounge in this blog with details on the space.

Reservations open on August 14, so be sure to secure your spot or else you’ll have to walk the plank (just kidding).

 I think it’s time we crack open this treasure chest and sea what’s on the horizon at The Beak and Barrel!

Beak and Barrel Food and Drink Menu

Pirates of all ages will be able to enjoy two tasty drink selections.

The Treasure Trove

The first is the Treasure Trove, an imaginative non-alcoholic beverage cloaked in mystery. As you sip on this mix of ube, lemon, and coconut, you can also snack on some sweet treats, like a vanilla cake plank, chocolate cannonball, and golden caramel popcorn.

 The Cursed Treasure

The other non-alcoholic sip is the Cursed Treasure. This features a delicious combination of coconut milk and cookie crumbs topped with vanilla foam and pirate’s gold cookie. It’s that iconic cookies and cream flavor, in drink form.

Kraken’s Catch

Blimey! The adventurous foodies out there will have their eye on the Kraken’s Catch. This cold salad is quite unique with octopus tentacles – yes, you heard that right – marinated in lemon and lime juice and paired with olives, bell peppers, avocado, and Piquillo pepper-almond foam.

Salty Seas mARRRgarita

For adult pirates, there’s quite the selection of refreshing, colorful cocktails to enjoy, like the Salty Seas mARRRgarita. This drink features Southeast Asian flavors, such as ube which gives it the striking purple color, as well as Lalo Blanco Tequilla, Cointreau Liqueur, and lime.

Siren’s Whisper

I think I may hear a siren song drawing us to the next drink … The Siren’s Whisper will lure you in with its captivating blue color and promises of eternal youth. It combines Pot & Column Still White Rum with citrus and spice. This sip was inspired by the Fountain of Youth, also known as the Aqua de Vida from the films. For the final drop of allure, the drink is topped with a special siren tear.

Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes

The treasure map has led to the Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes. This warm corn cake is stuffed with melted cheese, lime sour cream, and chili peppers topped with cotija cheese. There are two paths you can take on your foodie adventure – one with roasted corn and poblano peppers or one with chipotle-braised chicken.

Barrels Ablaze

Next up, we’ve got the Barrels Ablaze. If you’ve got a taste for bourbon, you’ll find treasures with this one. It features Jack Daniel’s Bonded Bourbon, a hint of honey, and a dash of spice.

Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale

Yo ho, yo ho, it’s the Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale for me. As you sip, you’ll enjoy the lightly sweet and refreshing taste of this rum-based drink topped with prosecco. The bubbly effervescence combined with hibiscus, demerara and citrus will make you feel like you’re charting the Atlantic.

Island Provisions

Once they taste it, pirates will soon be telling tales of Island Provisions. This dish takes flair and flavors from the Caribbean and Central America regions. Grab your crew for this shareable bite with plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and toasted flatbread served with various savory dips.

Port of Call

For those gin-loving pirates out there, Port of Call is the drink for you. This delightful sip brings the flavor. With London Dry Gin, Ruby Port, lemon juice, and spiced cranberry, you’ll be wanting to live the pirate’s life.

Lit Fuse

You don’t need to search uncharted waters to find this next beverage. The Lit Fuse is quite the tasty concoction. With Los Siete Misterios Doba -Yej Meszal, and flavors of banana, coconut, and smoked chili bitters, this beverage will light up your taste buds.

Plunderer’s Punch

Where’s the rum gone? Into the Plunderer’s Punch! It has Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, vanilla, and a hint of citrus. For some added treasure to take home with you, this sip comes in a souvenir pirate skull mug. This special loot is limited to one per guest.

Wines and Exclusive Draft Beers

Finally, for the beer buccaneers out there, you’ll be impressed with this lineup, savvy? The Beak and Barrel will be home to exclusive draft beer, including Victory Brewing Co. Pirate’s Paradise Blonde Ale and Wicked Weed Brewing Berried Treasure Session Sour, as well as bottled and canned lager and IPAs, such as Modelo Especial Lager, Red Stripe Lager, and Bell’s Two Hearted IPA.

 The wine connoisseurs will also be saying, “shiver me timbers,” with wine by the glass options from various places across the seven seas available. These include the Spice Route ‘Chakalaka’ Red Blend, Quinta de Santiago Vinho Verde, and the Viarae Prosecco.

For some fun you can take home with you, there’s even some special keepsakes available for purchase. To be dressed in your pirate best, there will be a new T-shirt inspired by The Beak and Barrel and a Parrot Shoulder Plush. Learn from Disney Springs Chefs with Weekly Culinary Series

On select Fridays throughout the summer, chefs from some of your favorite Disney Springs restaurants will showcase the skills and creativity used to craft this year’s menu items.

During the culinary series hosted by Kroger Delivery, guests will feast their eyes on cooking demonstrations from kitchen masters sharing their unique talents. A Second Chance to Enjoy Returning Favorites

One of the tastiest surprises from last year—the St. Augustine Datil Pepper Fritas—is back for a second round at The Daily Poutine! The crispy pork dish features a datil pepper sauce and Florida hearts of palm slaw. But the beer cheese crafted from Sunshine Stroll Orange Pilsner helps make it truly special.

Sunshine Stroll was introduced during Flavors of Florida last year as a Disney Springs exclusive, and our chefs immediately went to work using it in various dishes like this one. I was thrilled to find out this dish is coming back and can’t wait to see what other creations use the exclusive pilsner this year.

While you’re exploring Disney Springs Flavors of Florida, don’t forget to stop by Swirls on the Water for another returning treat—the Orange Bird Cone! This sublime dessert combines DOLE Whip® Orange in an orange cone, topped with sprinkles and a chocolate piece. It’s a delightfully satisfying sweet worthy of featuring the name of one of my favorite Disney characters.

INTERCOT Gets GEO-82 Sneak Preview - Grand Opening June 4

This past Friday, INTERCOT was invited to a sneak preview for EPCOT's newest adults only lounge, GEO-82, located directly behind Spaceship Earth. California Grill Cast Members Celebrate 30 Years

Thirty years ago, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort opened as Walt Disney World’s first signature dining experience, forever changing the landscape of Disney dining.

Located on the 15^th floor overlooking Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon, this iconic restaurant quickly became popular for its fresh, seasonal menus, royal views of Cinderella Castle and one of the first open kitchens at the Resort. But beyond the contemporary cuisine, what truly makes California Grill special is the people.

Crafting a Legacy from Day One to Today

Leading up to opening night, a team was assembled with one key ingredient in mind – passion. “That opening team was really special, everyone brought a different talent and was constantly learning for each other,” Ray, an opening-day cast member, remembers.

It’s that same passion that inspired Ray to craft one of California Grill’s most popular cocktails, the Monterey, or as his regulars call it the “Ray Ray”, which will be returning to this year’s limited-time anniversary menu.

“We’re surrounded by the freshest ingredients,” Ray explains. “The Monterey was made with crushed blackberries and lemonade made from scratch. Since the beginning, California Grill has focused on excellence and that still comes through today with local and domestic sourced seasonal ingredients.”

World Class Service Through the Years

For opening-day server, Dale, his passion goes hand-in-hand with purpose. “We’re a part of the Disney culture and the world-class service we provide is something you don’t receive anywhere else,” Dale says.

And it’s because of that spirit of service that Dale and other long-time Cast Members have created lifelong connections with guests. Over the decades, the California Grill team has welcomed families who first visited with their toddlers and now return with grandchildren alongside them.

“Something special about Disney is that people come back and vacation year after year and I’ve gotten to see families grow up in front of my eyes,” says Walter, another opening-day server. “I’ve seen kids when they were seven or eight years old and now, they’re 35 visiting with children of their own! I think that’s the real kicker, this place has been here 30 years, and it’s given us an opportunity to build strong, amazing relationships with a lot of families.”

That sense of connection, decades deep and deeply personal, is what continues to define California Grill. For many cast members, the memories they’ve shared with guests are cherished moments of their own.

“Once, I waited on Roy E. Disney, Walt’s nephew. And after the fireworks I went over to the table, and he was crying a little bit, and he said, ‘I’ll tell you, Dale, I’ve seen these a ton of times, and it still gets me’…and that’s my favorite memory of 30 years.” Dale fondly recalls.

This adult-exclusive, sophisticated spot nestled within Spaceship Earth will feature a unique beverage program to enjoy as you delight your taste buds with a selection of small bites that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

Whether you’re looking for an afternoon sip and snack or the perfect end to your EPCOT evening, you’ll want to take in the beautiful views of the World Celebration Gardens as well as the lounge, which takes inspiration from the iconic architecture of Spaceship Earth itself.

Some of the new sips to discover include the Brown Butter Old Fashioned, which will offer up a twist on a classic with brown butter-infused bourbon, and the Clarified New York Sour, which features culinary techniques that make a visually stunning cocktail.

The small bites are also not to be missed while you enjoy your beverages, as these have been expertly crafted by the culinary team. For over 20 years cast have provided a signature dining experience known for its lavish setting, offering a multi-course dining experience that features carefully curated menus with premium and sustainable ingredients sourced from around the world.

“The ingredients drive the menu,” Chef de Cuisine and Walt Disney Legacy Award Winner Matthew Sowers explains. “We use the freshest seafood and highest quality meat from across the globe as the base of our dishes. For example, the Glacier 51 Toothfish on the current menu can only be found in the Arctic more than one mile under the ocean’s surface.”

Creating an experience where timeless traditions seamlessly blend with modern culinary artistry takes teamwork, and there’s no shortage of it in the Victoria & Albert’s kitchen. Wishes do come true at Wish Makers Enchanted Dining at 1900 Park Fare. With an assortment of mouthwatering bites, including the iconic Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup and delicious Tiana’s Gumbo with Spicy Andouille Sausage, this buffet is a must-try. There’s plenty for the little ones (and kids at heart), too, as they venture over to the special kids’ selections, including Mickey waffles for breakfast and pizza for dinner.

As you enjoy your meal, you may be greeted by none other than Princess Tiana in her adventure gear, Prince Ali, Mirabel, and Cinderella, so get those cameras and autograph books ready!

‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Say aloha to your appetite because we’re going family style at this beloved location. ‘Ohana is a favorite for a reason, with delicious breakfast and dinner experiences guests of all ages will love. In the morning, Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch gives you as many breakfast bites as you can handle, with American dishes influenced by Polynesian flavors, and Lilo and Stitch greeting you tableside.

For Dinner with Hawaiian Hospitality, you’ll feel like you’re in the South Pacific with this family-style feast. Some of the classic dishes include the ‘Ohana Noodles, Pork Dumplings Tossed in Garlic-Chili Sauce, and, of course, the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding served á la mode with homemade caramel sauce.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds

Let’s raise the roof inside the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! This beloved location puts a frontier twist on some family fun. The Pioneer Hall Players are here to put on a musical, comedy show to enjoy while you feast upon a lineup of Southern-style fare of fresh-baked cornbread, macaroni-and-cheese, and the grand finale of strawberry shortcake. This all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner, offered at 4:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m., and filled with fun and flavor. So, get ready to stomp, clap, and eat up at this 2-hour dining experience.

Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Next, we’re riding over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for none other than Chef Mickey’s Buffet. As the monorail rolls on by, you’ll be met by Mickey and some of his pals, and even get a special, autographed card keepsake.

A bountiful breakfast awaits with bites like buttermilk biscuits and gravy and Mickey waffles, while dinner is packed with flavors like orange chicken, peel-and-eat shrimp, and NY strip loin.

Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

If you’re looking for a taste of Louisiana, you don’t need to go too far. Boatwright’s Dining Hall is serving up some Southern hospitality for dinner with its signature Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-to-Enjoy Platter.

This selection features items like hickory-smoked pork ribs, crispy Cajun chicken, and barbecued beef brisket with sides, including mac and cheese and roasted corn with Cajun butter. There are also plenty of à la carte items to choose from, too.

Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Get ready to go on an adventure of flavor because over at Boma – Flavors of Africa, your taste buds are in for a treat. Whether dining for breakfast or dinner, this buffet, inspired by an African marketplace, serves up a delicious selection inspired by the flavors of the many African countries along with some classic American dishes, too.

From the fan-favorite Zebra Domes to African Spiced Beef Striploin and Sweet Corn Pudding, there’s plenty to fill the whole family’s bellies.

Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Step into this New England-inspired spot for a feast of flavors. Minnie Mouse and her friends, dressed in their beachwear best, are here to welcome you and the whole family to Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast. This buffet is filled with a selection of flavorful favorites, including our iconic Mickey and Minnie waffles.

As the sun goes down, Cape May Cafe switches over to the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet. With each bite, you’ll be transported to the coast with peel-n-eat shrimp, Cape May clams, and slow-roasted strip loin. And be sure to save room for dessert, too!

Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

We’ll be on island time until further notice at Sebastian’s Bistro, which serves up a family-style feast with dishes inspired by Latin and Caribbean flavors. As you enjoy some waterfront views, your taste buds will be equally as pleased throughout this family-style dinner experience.

After enjoying some buttery house-baked pull-apart rolls served with guava butter and caramelized onion jam – yum – you’ll move onto the Taste of the Caribbean main course, which includes slow-cooked mojo pork and baked fish with citrus butter. And for the sweet finish, you’ll see why the Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream is a fan favorite.

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

You’re in for some frontier fare with a touch of shenanigans at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Whether dining in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, in addition to à la carte options, there are bottomless skillets you can enjoy. For breakfast and lunch, you can choose between three all-you-care-to-enjoy signature skillets – The Heritage, The Carnivore, and The Lighter Side. For dinner there are four to pick from – The Traditional, The Land and Sea, The Pig, and Plant-based. No matter what you’re looking for, there’s truly something for everyone.
