Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass is Back

Tis the sea-son to be a cheerful giver and if you’re still gift hunting, we have something cool to add to your holiday list. The Disney Water Park seasonal pass has returned! That’s right!

Beginning today, seasonal water park passes are on sale for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.

Disney Water Park Pass Prices and Dates

Glide your way through a wintery water wonderland at Blizzard Beach or slide down Crush ‘n’ Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon when you visit again and again from now until May 9, 2026.

Snag a pass for just $89 for adults and $83 for kids ages 3-9. But plan your trip accordingly as block-out dates occur from March 28, 2026, through April 5, 2026.

Disney World Water Park Season Pass Discounts and Perks

This year, we’re adding some new pass perks. After you make a splash down Summit Plummet waterslide, relax, and have some chill time at Blizzard Beach’s Polar Patios cabanas. But be sure to grab 20% off your cabana when you first arrive at the water park as it is a walk-up deal only.

You can also grab that same deal at Typhoon Lagoon when you visit the cabanas at the Beachcomber Shacks. Trust me, it’s the perfect way to relax and treat yourself to the island vibes, especially after riding the waves of the largest wave pool in North America at Typhoon Lagoon.

Round out your water park visit with a round of mini golf included with your pass. Perfect your golf stroke at either Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf when you visit before 4 p.m.. Be sure to take advantage of this perk as there’s only one round of golf included in your pass over the season.

Which Water Park is Open Right Now?

Grab your passes now and warm up your winter holiday season for a little while longer before Typhoon Lagoon closes on February 14.

But not to worry, there will be waves for days for the family as Blizzard Beach will reopen the following day on February 15 just in time for the Spring season!

It’s official! The holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World Resort, and we kicked off this most magical time of the year Thursday night with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Disney Springs.

Kick off the Holiday Season at Disney Springs

Guests at Disney Springs were treated to a special holiday surprise as they witnessed the countdown to the Christmas tree lighting! One lucky family was chosen from the audience to blow some pixie dust onto the tree, bringing it to life with twinkling lights and officially marking the start of the holiday season across Disney World.

The atmosphere embodied the true holiday magic at Disney with dazzling entertainment moments and the first night of our nightly snowfall in Town Center at Disney Springs.

Experience the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth is back this holiday season! Pick up a Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll Guide and visit the 19 themed trees throughout Disney Springs.

As you stroll, use the guide’s stickers to match the correct icon to each tree and bring it to one of the redemption locations for a special surprise (be sure to visit soon as supplies are limited).

This year, there are trees themed around fan-favorite movies and characters such as Pixar Animation Studios’ Coco, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana, and my favorite, The Princess and the Frog. And don’t forget your MagicBand+, as some of the trees are interactive!

Catch Artist Showcases at the New Disney Enchanted Holiday Art Gallery

New at Disney Springs this holiday season is the Disney Enchanted Holiday Art Gallery! Gift your family and friends original art, prints, and other types of artwork from 11 featured artists, most of which are Florida natives. The artwork scope is a broad range of many different art styles, various paint techniques, and items ranging from original art to canvas wraps.

Each artist showcases their artistic expertise with a blend of their own inspiration and their love for Disney. Featured artwork will include beloved Disney films and characters such as Mickey and Minnie, Alice in Wonderland, and Beauty and the Beast. Be sure to check the schedule for artist signing events!

Snack and Sip on Festive Sips and Bites

Tucked underneath the spare airplane parts, salvaged equipment, and rugged holiday charm, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has taken holiday decorating to the next level with festive holiday décor lining the walls, all from Jock’s collection.

For a charming cocktail and a blissful bite, be sure to visit Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar for a holiday-themed menu through January 4, featuring classic sips and new bites like A Wreath of Wellington and the Boughs of Holly Deviled Eggs.

In the mood for something even sweeter? Treat yourself to a tasty North Pole Bar at Amorette’s Patisserie or the Mickey Chocolate-covered Gingerbread Cookies at The Ganachery, or stop by Marketplace Snacks for the Sven Reindeer Food Waffle Sundae.

New Disney World Candy Containers Inspired by Trash Cans

You’ve seen them around the parks. Some of you dressed up as them. Now, they store candy. I’m talking about none other than the iconic Walt Disney World Resort trash cans.

Bin-troducing the all-new Bulk Candy Containers, inspired by the classic Main Street U.S.A. trash cans and packed with your favorite sweet treats. Today we’re sharing everything you need to know about these fun cans. I’ll waste no time, here’s where to find them to how you can take one home.

What are the Bulk Candy Containers?

If you have visited any of the Disney Parks, you wouldn’t have missed the colorful trash cans themed to the lands in which they are located.

Available while supplies last, the new Bulk Candy Containers are a nostalgic, miniature replica of the bins that pepper Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. Featuring swinging lids on both sides and a flip-top, the cans will make your next sweet treat craving that much more fun.

How Can I Buy the Trash-Can Inspired Containers?

Visit one of the six merchandise locations and pick your favorites from the bulk candy wall using a bag provided. Note that you will need to grab at least ½ lb. of candy to be able to purchase the container.
Don’t place the sweets in the can just yet! You will need to check out first. Keep in mind that there’s a limit of 2 containers per guest/transaction. Available while supplies last!
After purchasing, you can throw the candy in the container and reuse it as a nostalgic collectible.

It’s as simple as finding a trash can in Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Parkswings open its gates this Thursday, May 1, inviting guests into a tropical world that offers waves of family fun.

It’s a must-do on your list of things to experience during your Walt Disney World Resort visit because there’s something to excite everyone in the family.

Thrill-seekers can get a rush from fast-paced water attractions like Crush ‘n’ Gusher, Miss Adventure Falls and Humunga Kowabunga, while kids can spend the day splashing around in the relaxing surf pool and taking in the tropical scenery as they drift down Castaway Creek lazy river. The littlest of tots will love Ketchakiddee Creek with its shallow pools and mini waterslides.

There are plenty of ways to have a splash-tastic time out of the water. That zany character, Stitch, will often be roaming around, so be sure to snap a few selfies to show your friends. Stay cool with an assortment of fruity and tropical drinks available around the park and savor some of the best cuisine you’ll find at any water park. Some of my favorites are the barbecue chicken flatbread, the chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches and the Waterparks Sand Pail Sundae.

H2O Glow After Hours Lights Up the Night Again

H2O Glow After Hours is back starting May 23 through Sept. 13. The watery fun-under-the-sun will soon extend into the night this summer.

Neon nights transform the park into a high-energy, glow-in-the-dark experience with DJ dance parties, Disney character meet & greets and complimentary snacks.

Here’s one of the best parts: Kids get into H2O Glow After Hours for only $42.50, half the adult price of $85! It’s gonna be the place to be this summer so you better get your tickets now.

Double Your Water Park Fun

The only thing better than one water park filled with loads of family fun and entertainment is two of them! Get double the water park fun this summer when Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopens on May 21 after a brief closure starting May 1. It will be the first time since 2019 that guests can splash around at both Disney water parks during their trip.

Blizzard Beach and its wintery theming invites guests to enjoy a unique mix of frozen fun amid warm waters that includes attractions and experiences for the entire family. Get an adrenaline rush on thrilling slides like Summit Plummet and Downhill Double Dipper or relax on a float down Cross Country Creek. Take the little ones to the ‘Frozen’-themed play areas of Tike’s Peak and splash around in the heated waters of Melt-Away Bay wave pool.

Both Disney World Water Parks to Open Starting May 21

Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World is about to get even cooler! In honor of the 30^thanniversary of Blizzard Beach today, we’d like to seas the day and announce that Blizzard Beach water park will also be open for guests this summer in addition to Typhoon Lagoon. And this is no April Fools’ Day joke!

For the first time since 2019, Disney World will have all 6 of our parks—all 4 theme parks and 2 water parks—open at the same time. From May 21 through September 7, Disney World guests can enjoy the tropical shipwreck oasis of Typhoon Lagoon and the frosty fun of Blizzard Beach water park.

Before the summer fun can begin, Blizzard Beach will need a little melt away time and will temporarily close between May 1 and May 20.

As we count down to school being out and summer officially beginning, all these extra water slides, lazy rivers, and splashy activities join the already incredi-pool lineup of special deals, new shows, and limited-time activities and entertainment coming to Disney World this summer for families with kids.

Mark your calendars and get ready to glow-up this summer because tickets for Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon at Walt Disney World go on sale next week.

This family-friendly event takes place on select nights throughout the summer from May 23rd to September 13th. That’s right, your summer nights are about to get that much brighter. Your quintessential party host each night will be Partysaurus Rex and this time he’s bringing along some of his Toy Story friends to help ensure everyone has a night to remember.

Each night is a chance to dance the night away in your most colorful glow-in-the-dark style and enjoy amazing complimentary snacks (think Mickey bars, popcorn and select beverages). I’ll tell you more about the food and drinks later. Right now, get ready to get your tickets because guests staying at a Disney World hotel can purchase tickets starting April 1, while tickets for the general public are available starting April 4.

And the best part is that the wait times will be shorter compared to visiting Typhoon Lagoon during the regular daylight hours. Enjoy all of the park’s iconic attractions, especially the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, which is North America’s largest wave pool.

Indulge in Radiant Food and Drinks at H2O Glow

There is always deLIGHTful food and drinks at H2O Glow, but this year we’ve added even more scrumptious bites. Two of my favorite new foods are our Chicken and Mickey-shaped Waffle Sliders, which you can get at Leaning Palms, and our Glow-versized Loaded Baked Potato at Typhoon Tilly’s.

We are still cooking up more menu items, so I’ll have a full list of food and drinks for you in the coming weeks, but just be prepared to have your taste buds tickled all night long.

Blizzard Beach 30th Anniversary Splashes Down in April at Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World Resort is kicking off its “chilliest’’ celebration as Blizzard Beach Water Park celebrates its 30^th anniversary in April with a variety of limited-time guest experiences and festive entertainment, which families won’t want to miss before they melt away. On the water park’s 30^th anniversary on April 1, there will be a live DJ spinning icy tunes, several meet & greet opportunities with popular Disney characters dressed in winter attire and special digital frozen-photo frames to highlight guests’ memories from that day. For the remainder of the Blizzard Beach season, which runs through the end of April, guests can experience anniversary-themed dance parties, games and temporary 30^th anniversary tattoos, plus merchandise, food and beverages and “snow” much more. At the culmination of the anniversary celebration, the water park fun switches over to the tropical oasis water park at Walt Disney World Resort, Typhoon Lagoon, which reopens May 1 featuring tropical-themed experiences created by a legendary typhoon that once struck the island, leaving behind a quirky collection of wrecked boats, a stranded fishing pier and a unique blend of fun and adventure. This opportunity is led by experienced instructors and offers easy-to-follow choreography, making fitness fun and accessible for kids of all skill levels. After Zumba, stay for other Kids Club offerings or head to Splitsville Luxury Lanes for discounted bowling and lunch, which you’ll find in the “Family Day Out” itinerary.
Get a Spring in your Step: Forgot your smart watch to track your steps? No problem! Guests can track their distance through new banners displayed throughout Disney Springs. For example, walking from Orange Garage to Lime Garage takes 450 steps, which is five times the height of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! With twinkling lights and festive decorations around every corner, this is the perfect time to gather your loved ones for merry activities, savor delicious seasonal treats and create cherished memories together. Let’s unwrap some of the new holiday offerings you can experience this year:

Interact with the World of Disney Windows

For the first time ever, the windows at the World of Disney store interact with your MagicBand+ to create holiday magic for the entire family. Each of the windows has festive fun mixed with unique animations and personalization that appear with a tap of your MagicBand+. There are two storylines featuring fan-favorite characters that you don’t want to miss this holiday season. Be sure to check out all the windows, which may even give you some inspiration for writing your own letters to Santa.

Visit Santa’s Marketplace

Have you been making your holiday wish list the last few months? Visit Santa’s Marketplace near Disney’s Pin Traders and share your list with Santa in person. Or if you are looking to spread holiday cheer with a family Christmas card, the Disney PhotoPass team is ready to capture the perfect photo of your family.

Bring the Holidays to Life on the Christmas Tree Stroll Presented by Advent Health

One of my favorite things to do with my family during the holiday season is see all the different trees on the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth, and I am so excited that it returned this year with some new additions! Stroll across Disney Springs to see the entire collection of beautifully decorated Christmas trees celebrating some Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Super Hero favorites. As you stroll through Disney Springs to discover more trees, be sure to look and see which ones have interactions you can engage with MagicBand+ experiences presented by Luxury of Time by Diamonds International.

In between taking advantage of these new and enhanced holiday offerings, don’t forget to savor the delicious treats and seasonal entertainment throughout Disney Springs. Between the Toy Soldier Stilt Walkers, Roller Blading Snowflakes and Brass Brand, there is seasonal flair around every corner. My personal favorite way to end my day of holiday shopping at Disney Springs is by enjoying one of the nightly “snow” flurries at the Town Center Christmas tree and tasting the new and returning items at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar.

With the holidays just around the corner, I’ve been counting down the days that I can jump into the winter festivities! Luckily with Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopening November 4, there are going to be even more ways to have frosted fun under the Florida sun. Few places can bring to life a melting ski resort with immersive theming other than Walt Disney World, and the water park brings together family-friendly experiences and thrilling water attractions.

It’s “snow-joke’’ that there is a lot to do at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, but here are seven ways I can’t wait to warm up my winter.

1. Experience the Thrill

You might think The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is the only way to drop several stories at Walt Disney World, but Summit Plummet is one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-fall waterslides that sends riders 12 stories almost straight down, rocketing through a darkened tunnel and into a massive spray of whitewater.

2. Frozen Fun for Families

Looking for fun with the little tikes? For the first time in what feels like forever, the beloved characters from “Frozen’’ are inviting kids under four feet tall to step into their own “Frozen’’ adventure while enjoying water fun at Tike’s Peak. Roam across wading pools featuring whimsical depictions of Olaf and his Snowgie pals, engage in playful battles with pop-up water jets at Anna and Elsa’s igloo fortress, and go down slides designed just for them.

3. Teamboat Springs Thrills

Enjoy the perfect thrill for everyone on Teamboat Springs. This unpredictable family raft ride offers a wild journey through twists and turns, navigating one of the longest waterslides in the world. It’s a must-ride for anyone seeking unforgettable memories with family and friends.

4. Relax on Cross Country Creek

For those looking to unwind, Cross Country Creek offers a peaceful float along the 3,000-foot lazy river, winding through the park’s scenic landscapes.

5. Indulge in New Menu Items

Indulge your taste buds with brand-new menu items that bring both savory and sweet flavors. At Warming Hut, guests will find lunch and dinner options, including the new barbecue pork sandwich with bacon and fried onion straws on a brioche bun. Sweet treats throughout the day include comfort flavors at Icee Expeditions with the new apple pie churro and praline sundae. For those already in the holiday spirit, the premium peppermint shake at Lotta Watta features a vanilla and chocolate milkshake with peppermint beverage syrup whipped cream, a brownie, and a cherry on top.

6. Float in Melt-Away Bay

Experience relaxation in the heated one-acre wave pool, Melt-Away Bay. Float on inner tubes or splash around as gentle waves lap the shore. Mount Gushmore’s waterfalls create short, relaxing swells—ideal for lounging or swimming out to rocky outcrops to enjoy a refreshing waterfall.
