Haven't written a trip report, or a pre-trip report in a long long. A long time. So, may as well write one now that we are back baby!!!
This trip will be me and my dad only. We are annual passholders, though I am not sure if my dad will renew with me or not. I hope so because I am always planning a big trip for 2025. Anyway, here are plans as they stand for right now for my upcoming trip, my 2nd this year!
Dates: August 31, 2024 to September 8, 2024
Cast: Me (50, male) and my Dad (74, male)
Resort: Disney's Old Key West - One Bedroom Villa. Dad will have the bedroom, I'll be sleeping, or trying to anyway, on the pull out.
Mode of Transportation: Driving from NJ with plans to stop over night
Overnight Stays: SureStay by Best Western in Manning, SC (drive down); Tru by Hilton in Rocky Mount, NC (drive home)
Theme Park days:
Monday September 2 - Animal Kingdom
Tuesday September 3 - Epcot
Wednesday September 4 - Magic Kingdom (at night for Happily Ever After)
Thursday September 5 - Disney's Hollywood Studios
Friday September 6 - Magic Kingdom
Disney Dining:
Sunday September 1 - Maria and Enzo's (dinner)
Monday September 2 - Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom (dinner)
Tuesday September 3 - Space 220 (dinner)
Wednesday September 4 - Kona Cafe (breakfast); Geyser Point Bar and Grill (dinner)
Thursday September 5 - 50's Prime Time Cafe (dinner)
Friday September 6 - Tony's Town Square (dinner)

Thanks Bud. I am planning on it. I usually go for 2 weeks in October, but decided to split it this year. Went for a week in June, meeting up with a friend and his son, who went for the first time ever! And figured I give the first week of September a try, since schools will be open. Here's to hoping for short lines!
