Any idea what Disney might be doing on March 10?

Posters with "Are you 23?" on them have been appearing at the Burbank studios, so I'm leaning toward some sort of movie. Other than that, I have no clue.

I suppose it's possible that it's a movie, but I doubt it. They have other movies that are slated for release this year on their site, with trailers and dates. Also, there was a mystery/suspense movie last year titled "The Number 23" and it had Jim Carey in it.
A Google search didn't turn up anything, so it's kind of mysterious at this point. How did you find out about it?
Pinocchio on Blu-ray comes out March 10, 2009. It's a Tuesday, which is video, cd, or book release day, no?
Tuesdays are indeed release days for videos, music and books. A spring release for Pinnochio has been well known for a while now; it's been in the last two Platinum Edition video releases (Sleeping Beauty and 101 Dalmations).
Tinkerbell makes the countdown appear on the web site. Significant? IMO, probably not, but something to consider.
I just turned 23! ;)
Okay, now I'm sucked in.
I wonder if it has to do with Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure coming out this year. Don't know what the 23 would mean, though.
The add seems too simple for a Tinkerbell movie, but you never know. Still, I doubt it.
The following Disney DVD's are all set to be released March 10, 2009; although none seem to have significance to "23":
- Return From Witch Mountain
- 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
- Pinocchio 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition
Ok, they got me too. I went ahead and entered my e-mail....
I am doubting this has anything to do with a DVD release.. It may be a movie of some sort coming out LATER.. but, the posters do say DISNEY PARKS on them...
Some more info/points/food for thought:
1) A former employee in Corporate Strategic Communications and Marketing has claimed that the poster is promoting a new fan club that would feature an annual Walt Disney Company fan convention. Although not totally in-line with the slogan, the claim is that "23" is in reference to 1923--the year the Walt Disney Company was founded.
2) Another interesting speculative so far is that it may be for a contest in which there have already been 22 winners. Although no such contest has been identified, it is certainly a very literal translation of the slogan.
3) When one enters their e-mail per the field provided at disney.com/23, the status bar (in the bottom right hand corner of the browser) momentarily displays "Transferring to http://disneypicturesawards.go.com". According to Domain Tools, the IP Location is "California - Burbank - Disney Worldwide Services Inc". The page does not appear to be active, but does contain the following server information in the standard error message,"Apache Server at studioawards.movies.go.com". A similar address, http://disneystudiosawards.movies.go.com/main.html? appears to be a site that Disney uses to present movies for award consideration to those on movie award panels.
I don't believe they do ...Quote:

Okay, so I have no idea what it's about, but I entered my e-mail so I will be what the site calls "one of the first to know!" :)
Well, I don't know what it's supposed to mean, but it makes an awesome countdown timer for the day we leave for the World!
On the web on the home page,it has the screen showing what's new and it shows Disney Adventures and it says,"New 2009 Adventures by Disney....Discover 23 family adventures with new itineraries in 2009". Could this mean something?
Well they got me too! LOL. Hey I'd be happy if it was a pin code for $23 off. I'm guess it will be an ad for some movie.
This has also been speculated, but it doesn't really explain why the posters appeared around Burbank Studios nor really fit the slogan ...Quote:
