We are going in September and I have a son with asperger's -autism spectrum. If I am not mistaken you can only have 6 on a card. We have 7 in our family. How do we get all 7 of us on the card? I know they look on the card to see how many, but with children you can not leave people out.
It is my understanding that they don't put everyone on the card. It is essentially only for the person who needs it. They allow 5 others in the party with the person who the child is for.
What you could do is have part of your party go and wait with the child who needs the GAC and then the rest of the party wait in the regular lines. When they get to the front of the line you all get on together. Just make sure that the CM's know this is what you are wanting to do.
