How do you keep your money (cash) dry while at water parks?

Any tips for a water park newbie? I imagine they sell something at the park but there must be more ways people have come up with.

I keep it in my locker!!! :cool:

We use small plastic boxes (about the size of a deck of cards) that are attached to a lanyard and have a hinged top that seals with a rubber o-ring. You can find them in most of the gift shops at the resorts, and we've also seen them at WalMart and similar places.

Or you can take the frugal way and just use a small zip-lock bag.

But we've found that at the water parks wet money is accepted just as readily as the dry stuff.

We use either the Key to the World card and charge stuff, or we use a giftcard. Either one, we keep in a pocket in our swim shorts.

We don't bother with lockers. We just bring a tote bag and we put our clothes in there and sit it down in a place we'll remember.

This last trip I bought one of the watertight containers about the size of a deck of cards and very thin on a lanyard. They had them at most of the resort gift shops. I've actually used it a few times since I've been home when we've gone to pools or the beach.

Yep! We have a couple of these. Actually, we also use these at the theme parks as well to hold our park passes, fast passes, etc. so they are well used!

Simplest way it pre a little zip lock baggy with your wallet inside

Get a small nylon fanny pack and zip lock baggies. Double bag cell phone and such or you can buy water tight baggies at the sporting goods store. You can keep all your valuaes right with you and not have to worry. Worked great when at the beach too.

Not where to get make them, but I've seen people with some sort of waterproof wristband wallet.....

I use my resort card so I don't have to carry cash, but I agree that the ziplock bags are the easiest and best way to go. If you are carrying a lot of cash, the locker seems the safest route to go.

I use the small plastic case purchased a few years back from All-Star Music. I use it for our Park Tickets when at Disney, my DL and Debit Card at home when sailing or other water sports.
I would NEVER take or carry a lot of CASH!
Get you one of the plastic container when you check-in at your RESORT gift shop!
