Can you use the booking code for free dining if you are not a Disney Visa member. Another site had popsted the code???:mickey:
No, you must pay deposit at time of booking with a Disney Visa one new reservations. On existing reservations they usually ask for your credit card number to verify it is a Disney VIsa that was used.
Non-Disney Visa people will be able to book under the general public code soon.

I'm having my TA change to a one nt reservation for 8/14 and then a 7 nt reservation for free dining starting 8/15 w the base tickets. MY QUESTION IS AM I GOING TO BE TICKETLESS THE FIRST DAY? WILL THE RESORT GIVE ME MY 7 DAY BASE TICKETS ON THE 14TH?
Yes, you will be ticketless the first day. You will have two separate reservations. You will check in on the 14th for your "room only" reservation, and then will have to go back to the desk on the 15th to re-check in. At that time you will receive all of the items that are included with your package, including tickets and KTTW cards with your dining credits on them.Quote:

Yep....this is what we did just 3 weeks ago when we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. We had a one night room-only reservation and the next day we began an 8 night Magic Your Way vacation package. The check out/check in process was very quick and painless....other than being on pins and needles worrying that we would not get the check out/check in process completed in time to get to our 8:05am reservations at Crystal Palace. In the end it was really nothing to worry about at all. I think it took us only about 10 minutes and we were on our way to Magic Kingdom and a wonderful breakfast.
