I could do either the 15th or 22nd, but the 22nd would be grand. I'll watch this thread to see how it plays out. :mickey:

I can't do anything in August. As long as my husband doesn't have to work and he agrees to drive me to Philly I can do the 15th or 22nd in September.
Either date is fine, the only issue for me might be timing, as I am taking a Saturday morning class in the fall semester. The class is scheduled for 9AM-11:45AM. My class is at La Salle University, so I could come right from there.
The 15th is out for me, but depending on my work schedule, I may be able to do the 22nd (I leave for WDW on the 24th!!!).
Would the 23rd of august (a Thursday work) for lunch?? I have to be in Phily, am spending the night, and am free from 11-4 that day. The rest of Thursday and Friday is move in day for my daughter and activities I am going to. Just thought since I will just be a couple of blocks away and if it worked for everyone else, that would work out great for me.
If not, I can still come the sept date
I can't do anytime in Aug or any week days.
Ok let's try for Sept 22nd- so how many can come and what time? I am fine for lunch. A late lunch is ok for me but anytime will work between 11-3.
I can come pretty much any time that day. My DH will be riding in the Bike to the Bay that day, so I will have to bring DS with me. He was singing the Hauntend Mansion theme music on the way home today and will fit right in with the Intercot folks, I think!
Anyone else want to join us September 22nd - at 1 pm at Bliss on Broad Street Center City Philadelphia. Bliss has a menu to view online. It is a lot like California Grill and the desserts are :cloud9:.
So far I have heard from-
katzateer
TiggeRia

Anyone else want to join the fun? We will have to have a head count for Bliss.

If I missed anyone, please let me know!!
I'm 99% certain I'll be able to come. :mickey:
The timing couldn't be more perfect, as we taking in the Braves-Phillies game the next day for Chipper's last game in Philly. Weeee! :baseball:
I called the restaurant today and spoke to the manager, who was very nice. There isn't anything on the menu that I can eat as of now. He told me in a week or two they would be adding a few new things and he is going to email me the new menu. If that works out, my husband and I will be there. If not I hope to see everyone in Oct.
I should be able to join on the 22nd.
The menu looks yummy! Maybe because I haven't had a burger in awhile, that Kobe Burger sounds really, really good right about now. :tasty:
We got tickets off StubHub for like $4. How could we pass that up? LOOOOOVE StubHub. Now...will Philly do something for Chipper like all the other teams have been doing? ;)
My son and I are looking forward to meeting you all!
I'm going to do my best to meet you on the 22nd. DS5 has a Tae Kwon Do tournaument that day, but I think that the competition for his age group will be in the morning, so I think that I could do it. I don't have his competition time yet, but I think that it will be pretty early, like 9 a.m., so I'm crossing my fingers. I might need to bring my youngest (DS20 months) to Bliss.
And for anyone who doesn't know Center City Philadelphia, as a general rule tree named streets are East-West (Chestnut, Walnut, Locust, Cherry, Spruce, Pine, Cypress, Filbert and Vine - OK Vine isn't really a tree, but it's close). There are exceptions like Market, Arch and Race. Numbered streets are North-South, except Broad Street, which is basically where 14th street would be. There are also tiny streets here and there that are only a block or two long - I can't help you with the logic for those.
Broad Street is the major North-South street in the middle of the city. If you're trying to find Bliss and the numbered streets are lower than 14 and keep going down, you need to turn around. If they are above 14 and keep going up, turn around. It's 13th street, Broad street, then 15th street. If you're on Broad street going south and wind up at the stadium complex, turn around. The same goes if you're going north and all of a sudden are in a REALLY BAD neighborhood.
Just had an interview for a part time job. Won't know until next week if I get it, but it's contingent on being able to work weekends. If it comes through, I may not be able to make it. I'll keep you all updated.
